Travelling with my elderly mum, we had a twin room with queen/single beds. We found this place a little dated in the decor but clean and comfortable. The vanity had a full width bench so plenty of room for all our toiletries (big plus) and full complement of linen and complimentary soaps, etc. The aircon was great and kept us beautifully cool, but too noisy to sleep with, unfortunately. We availed ourselves of the guest laundry and it was great to have the dryer with all the ex-cyclone Alfred rain that dogged our trip.

I love this place for my fur babies. The fenced and grassed courtyard off the bedroom is amazing. No other accomodation has this. Makes my travelling life easier. My fur girls love it. When I cannot get one of the rooms with the courtyards, the big grassed area on the property is great to walk the girls around. Great water pressure. Adore the google chromes for the tvs. Staff are incredible. So supportive and understanding. I always stay here when I travel on my once/twice a year driving trip between FNQ and Sunshine Coast.

Love the location - outdoor area for the dogs were good , room was clean and comfortable. We ordered a meal the first night - great pizza. we also ordered breakfast the next day - bacon and eggs were good .

The fence area for dogs needs to be fixing Some panels are broken. Had a dripping shower . Need a new toilet brush Had no toaster but had to ask for one No cutlery .

Even though it was very busy it was a really quiet location.Our room was very clean and although a little aged it was really comfortable.The staff are amazingly helpful and accommodating.Nothing is too much trouble.Value for money is excellent.Amanda the manager is a really energetic and 'can do' lady. Its a great place for young or old ,a great family atmosphere.

It was an older Motel and badly in need of a refurbishment; yet having said that the beds were comfy, we came in too late and left too early to do anything but sleep. We loved it, it was like sleeping at Grandmas House ( said in the nicest way possible) And we give you a True Blue 100% 👍 for the Staff, they, were Fantastic. Very cheerful, accommodating and attentive. Hubby and I had crumbed steak with fresh veggies and mushrooms sauce. Every morsel was delicious and the meal size was huge as well, but we ate just about everything.

We didn’t like just staying one night, when we come up again it will certainly be for a longer stop over.

Amanda from True Blue couldn't do enough for us. When there was a mix-up with our booking she worked tirelessly to accommodate us either at True Blue or another hotel or motel. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff at this motel and it would be our first choice for accommodation in Rockhampton every time. We ended up being able to stay there due to the flexibility of another guest and Amanda's beyond expected efforts to see that we were not disadvantaged. Unusually considerate customer service 5 stars!

We had 2 dogs with us, there was a fenced off area at the back of the unit that lead to a wide open space that I could walk them around (with a lead). Staff were very friendly and the unit was clean and comfortable.

The air con unit was a bit noisy, but definitely not enough to ruin our stay

The room was very comfortable, the shower had great pressure, had everything I needed for a 1-night stay. The rooms were very quiet. The dinner & breakfast meals were super yummy & no small portions. I highly recommend the motel for a cost-effective & relaxing stay.

Travelling with my puppy (Toy Cavoodle), you need to fit "dog friendly" places to stay. True Blue Motor Inn in Rockhampton has to be one of the best puppy friendly motels we have come across. Our room had a fully fenced "back garden" for my puppy to explore inside and outside freely and safely. The location was great, the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the room was very dog friendly. Thank you True Blue Motor Inn staff !!!

A great basic motel to stop over, pet friendly & yummy food, delivered to your room which was super convenient when we had been travelling all day We were travelling with a boat & there was room for parking which was secure & safe, this was definitely a bonus too

My dogs did escape from the doggy area so just be careful when your dogs are in there.
