Thanks for a great stay Cap Motel! Staff were welcoming & happy to answer all our questions. Our rooms were clean & spacious. The highlight was having really comfortable beds to come back to after 12hr shifts on track. All 9 guys send a big thank you to the owners, and have requested this be our preferred stay in Rocky.

The fact we couldn't stay longer.

It was good to have the end unit on the block, and in a place that I could see the pool from my verandah. The staff were very friendly and gave us a full run down of the amenities and an explanation of the unit setup.

My daughter got pretty nasty chlorine burn in her eyes despite her using goggles. Clean pool though. They had let us know the pool had just been cleaned so we entered at our own risk.

Our stay was only an overnight while doing a road trip. The room was comfortable & clean with adequte kitchen facilities eg toaster & electric jug, crockery, fresh milk, butter & condiments to make breakfast. The receptionist was welcoming, friendly and hospitable.

Although we telephoned to advise we could arrive just after 6pm we were advised that reception would be available later. So check in was easy & although we were told dinner had to be ordered by 6:30pm we were 10 minutes late in getting to the restaurant after freshening up in our room. The manager was curt in telling us it was not acceptable to order after time. We understood his reasons but it wasn't that we were overly late or a large group. We offered to go elsewhere but were served our choosen meal which was good.

The rooms were a good size. I liked that they provided a toaster in your room. The staff were friendly . No fault of the facility but during our stay there were power outages but they notified us of this when we checked in

I booked 3 rooms for this stay. Only 1 of the rooms didn't have a bin outside and there was a baby so we had no where to put dirty nappies except in the little bin under the sink . We were in and out a fair bit and I didn't ask if we had some place to put nappies seen as no outside bin in that room.

We really like the place its its clean and comfortable the staff are so nice and willing to help the meals are great good servings and very tasty

The only down side is that they don't serve meals on the weekends but I sort of understand that

Great location just out of town, great size room. It was quiet, and easy to get food from town. Exactly what we needed travelling through.

The beds on wheels kept wheeling around when we'd move whilst sleeping or sitting on the beds, but it wouldn't stop us booking again.

The hotel met our needs as we were travelling as a family to attend a Touch Football Carnival. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. When arriving, we were greeted by a friendly staff member which was fantastic.

This is such a great place to stay. I stay here everytime I'm in Rocky. I love how it's very clean, it's very modern and fresh, I love the garden view, I love the undercover parking. This is by far the best motel to stay at.

Honesty, I can't really think of anything I didn't like

Clean and spacious, decent sized fridge, smart TV, laundry on-site, nice to have private outdoor sitting area as well.

Some road noise with the doors / windows open - but as it’s off the highway that’s to be expected. Once I shut everything up for the night, didn’t hear a thing and slept well.

Location was perfect for me as the reason for my visit was CQU residential school. Everyone was friendly, the resident sausage dog made me laugh cause I have one at home and the bed was super comfy.
