It was very clean and there were lots of extra touches like a shaving kit and makeup wipes, and even hot chocolate Staff were very friendly.

A dishcloth so you could wash up your cups would be great and some cutlery other than a teaspoon as there was a microwave and toaster but nothing to butter or eat with. Could have asked reception if we were earlier but just assumed they’d be in the room. A bit pokey but there were 3 beds in a small space.

Location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and well-organised room. The person managing the place clearly knows how to run the business. We will no longer look for any other place to stay when we travel to Warwick from now on. Highlight was the TV and paid chanels like netflix and etc, complimentary breakfast/water, items provided in the room, including the microwave and toasters and the Pub across the road. Very clean from linen to utensils and well thought of . body lotion, shaving kit, sewing, kit, bottled water, hot chocolate sachet. At check-in, Jo asked if we needed dinner plates and cutlery, and she brought them over.

If you don't want the cleaners to tidy your room, you need to put out the door hanger sign. Otherwise, they will clean and even throw away things on the table they deemed as rubbish!

The motel is well located and an easy walk to town centre. The room was clean and comfortable. We have stayed here before and always been happy.

The room was down the bottom beside the bins. While this is no problem in itself, after midnight the local drinks and the people next to us partied outside our room talking of bashing people and making a racket. In a motel I find this very unacceptable!!

It looks like the rooms have recently been refurbished, making for a very comfortable stay while doing a road trip. The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant has recently updated their menu, which has a wide selection; some reviews have suggested the restaurant prices are expensive, but they seemed to be in line with similar venues. If you prefer, there are other dining options within walking distance, or you can request plates and cutlery if you want to self-cater. Fresh milk is provided for tea / coffee when you check in, as well as a voucher for a drink from the resturant.

The WiFi coverage is good, but the internet speeds are not, which could simply be due to high demand and challenges with decent speeds in regional areas. Not the fault of the motel, but something to be aware of - if you are relying on Google Maps to get there, and you are not looking out for the motel's sign, you will be taken around the corner to the rear entrance and across the street from another motel. Staff tell me that this regularly happens.

Good for a short stay. Beds were comfortable and complementary cereal is available from the office. You need to ask for bowls and spoons though. There is a hotel across the road for evening meals.

We had a triple room and it was a little tight on space. It would have been a squeeze if we all had large suitcases.

The location was good not far from all amenities. I was quite shocked that it was better than what I was expecting. The young las Jess was extremely informative and very helpful. The beds were very comfortable - now that I know that we book again - thanks

Loved the location - no vehicular noise espec engine braking. Close to parks and sports fields and the Condamine River. Only minutes from the city centre by car, and certainly within easy walking distance. Staff were very friendly and informative. The room was clean, tidy and neatly set out with all facilities (iron, toaster, jug, a decent operational bar fridge, and microwave); shower was perfect with good flowing hot water and the bed was very comfortable with fresh clean sheets. Insulation provided good protection from the chill of winter but reverse cycle aircon could have been used if needed. Meals are not available at the time of our stay (02Jun2023), but the restaurant is due to open in about 6-8 weeks. Given the proximity of the heart of Warwick and the eateries available there, this was not a negative point at all. Based on what we experienced, it is anticipated the quality of meals from the restaurant will be very high too. As we have a few friends living here, will certainly stay at the Jackie Howe again.

No improvement opportunities noted and we have no negative comments at all. A very pleasant stay - thank you to all staff.

Continental breakfast was adequate. Location was great. Rooms were clean, bed was comfy.

Was woken by partiers from at least 2 of the other rooms at 1am. Loud voices, ute revving. Went for about an hour. No fault of the motel but I’m sure we weren’t the only people to hear it.

Across the road from one of the local pubs - perfect for a post drive drink and evening meal. Room access was simple and room was quiet. Bed comfort was reasonable.

Whilst the motel is dated and a little tired, the room was clean and reasonable. Not a complaint, just acknowledgement of building age.
