The cafe wasn't open so we had to buy some breakfast. That didn't bother me too much but there were no bowls

The lack of crockery and cutlery was a bit concerning we bought some fish and chips back with us, the cafe was closed so we had to eat off the bags supplied. The inner white one was ok, but the outer brown bag seemed to me to be very unhygienic. It bothered me, I went into the cafe next morning to be told you have to ask for these to be supplied!!!! This is the first motel I've ever been to that this happened.

Great, clean rooms, very spacious and close to town! Reasonably good value for money

We were excited about having the breakfast on our second morning but as it was a public holiday (Monday 9th June) there was only toasted sandwiches available. Very disappointing and it seemed we weren’t the only ones on this day as being a long weekend you would think it was an ideal time to accommodate the extra visitors for the extra day and treat the public holiday as you would a Sunday. Anyway we made the trip to tailem bend roadhouse to guarantee a proper breakkie! Perfection, time and money well spent! Yummo

Staff very helpful compact room with everything needed for an over night stay - sufficient furniture great A/C room was very clean with nice "little touches" in the bathroom for ladies in particular. Very quiet location off main street, option to open all windows off street parking for trailer/boat

Bathroom is small in the basin/toilet area DISAPPOINTED no Electric Blanket on Queen Bed gets very cold at night. Could not park car outside motel room (some parking is a bit awkward on a steep angle) Queen mattress needs replacing

Reception was so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing with lots of shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the shower, hand soap and body lotion at the basin, and two face washers. One especially for make up removal. Not cheap crap either. It was simply a very nice place to stay.

The car park. Nothing can be done because it is the geography of the town but it wasn't good for me as a disabled person

I think you saved my life! Arriving there on a 40° day, being mobility impaired, and having lugged my case and backpack from the bus stop, I was greeted by the amazing lady who came out of the cafe, upgraded my room to one better suited to my capabilities, and allowed me to book in early. She took my luggage to the room, checked the air conditioner, found the remote needed new batteries, fixed it immediately, and ensured that the room chilled very quickly for me. Most comfortable bed with soft pillow and an amazing fridge that froze my drink bottles so quickly. What else could anybody ask for. I spent the rest of the day recuperating. Later I went back to the cafe and had the best toasted cheese, ham and tomato sandwich I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Amazing, friendly and thoughtful service.

Location, just walking distance to everything on the main street. Room was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and lovely. Reception staff (Tamera) was very professional and welcoming. We had a lovely view over the Murray River through our floor to ceiling large window.

Just be careful with the hot water taps on the vanity and in the shower. There does not appear to a temperature limiting device on the system and the water is scalding. Kids and anyone for that matter, be very careful.

It is in a fantastic location. Wonderful view of the river from our room and from the cafe. Food was good and the ladies did a good job considering they were short staffed.

The parking wasn’t the best it was very tight. Better to have reversed in to your car park. The toilet seat on the toilet is not the correct one as it doesn’t sit on there properly.

I thought the breakfast pack was included before noticing the price so I’d unpacked it and put it in the frig. Thought it was pricey and may have chosen to eat out somewhere or just have fruit which I had with me.

Table not wiped over. Sticky from something. Chairs needed a cushion. Fridge on 6 and I turned it down to 4… then it didn’t freeze. I didn’t notice that til the next morning.

Beautiful views of the river.

We were in close proximity to the Cafe and some children were running up and down the grassed area screaming and jumping on a metal cover in the grass right outside our room. Not your fault but not conducive to a sleep in lol. I think their parents intervened eventually 🙂

Staff contacted us by phone about the easy access using the locked key box. Room #9 has a view of the river. Bed was comfortable and heating good.

Needed more power points. If the power board under the bed was longer, more points would be accessible. A microwave would be handy as the local restaurant is not open every day.
