The cafe wasn't open so we had to buy some breakfast. That didn't bother me too much but there were no bowls

The lack of crockery and cutlery was a bit concerning we bought some fish and chips back with us, the cafe was closed so we had to eat off the bags supplied. The inner white one was ok, but the outer brown bag seemed to me to be very unhygienic. It bothered me, I went into the cafe next morning to be told you have to ask for these to be supplied!!!! This is the first motel I've ever been to that this happened.

I think you saved my life! Arriving there on a 40° day, being mobility impaired, and having lugged my case and backpack from the bus stop, I was greeted by the amazing lady who came out of the cafe, upgraded my room to one better suited to my capabilities, and allowed me to book in early. She took my luggage to the room, checked the air conditioner, found the remote needed new batteries, fixed it immediately, and ensured that the room chilled very quickly for me. Most comfortable bed with soft pillow and an amazing fridge that froze my drink bottles so quickly. What else could anybody ask for. I spent the rest of the day recuperating. Later I went back to the cafe and had the best toasted cheese, ham and tomato sandwich I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. Amazing, friendly and thoughtful service.

Location, just walking distance to everything on the main street. Room was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and lovely. Reception staff (Tamera) was very professional and welcoming. We had a lovely view over the Murray River through our floor to ceiling large window.

Just be careful with the hot water taps on the vanity and in the shower. There does not appear to a temperature limiting device on the system and the water is scalding. Kids and anyone for that matter, be very careful.

It is in a fantastic location. Wonderful view of the river from our room and from the cafe. Food was good and the ladies did a good job considering they were short staffed.

The parking wasn’t the best it was very tight. Better to have reversed in to your car park. The toilet seat on the toilet is not the correct one as it doesn’t sit on there properly.

I thought the breakfast pack was included before noticing the price so I’d unpacked it and put it in the frig. Thought it was pricey and may have chosen to eat out somewhere or just have fruit which I had with me.

Table not wiped over. Sticky from something. Chairs needed a cushion. Fridge on 6 and I turned it down to 4… then it didn’t freeze. I didn’t notice that til the next morning.

Beautiful views of the river.

We were in close proximity to the Cafe and some children were running up and down the grassed area screaming and jumping on a metal cover in the grass right outside our room. Not your fault but not conducive to a sleep in lol. I think their parents intervened eventually 🙂

Great location.short walk to town Loved the cafe....menu was delish Reception and service staff were lovely.

Cafe not open all day.. Room needs at least one lighter coloured wall and more decor pictures or one larger picture etc like the Cafe and office area. Shower curtain too short so splashy wet floor Stairway out front to the town street was very dark and very bird pooey so you couldn't hold the rails and you couldn't see at night :/

Breakfast was delicious in the Cafe. Staff were amazing. Extremely helpful. It was hot so we ordered iced coffee with ice cream and cream instead of a mug of hot coffee. It wasn't on the menu but staff obliged.Views were sensational.

Chairs in the rooms could have padded seats. They are wicker seats and not that comfortable.

When we arrived at the motel we were greeted by the lovely Tamara on reception. She gave us some info on parking and explained the breakfast times. We were very pleased to have a small kitchen in the standard room we booked.

We didn’t like the mattress as it was too soft for us but that’s just our preference.

Great little venue

A little confusing re their food and beverage options with it being different to booking.com description, their own website description and what is told when arrive. A toaster and plates/cutlery would have been nice. All in all, good value though. Beds are comfy, TV and air conditioning work and its clean
