The location is in the heart of town, the balcony overlooks the shops below. The bed was very comfortable and we were blessed with a double shower...great water pressure. Everything was very clean. There's a door code to the main entrance and room instead of a key. Decor is lovely too.

We had a family in the room next to us with very loud, screaming kids, jumping on beds that banged into the walls late into the night. The parents said nothing to calm the kids. No fault of the lodge though.

There were 3 dirty plates in our cupboard when we arrived stacked with the clean ones. Also found 2 large opened crisp packages in a lower bedside drawer when checking everything before we left….. obviously starched by previous occupants. These were the only untoward things though. We had plenty of whatever we needed, and could see some lovely added touches… keep that up because it certainly sets you above the rest. Pub next door is a bonus too… great meals and staff. Oh, a microwave in our room would have been handy but had access to the general one.

The property was close in town to everything and the rates were very well priced for the room I had. The bathroom had been renovated and was lovely. The bed was very big and lovely and comfortable. Entrance into the building and the room was very easy.

Curtains weren’t great. As I had traveled long distance and very tired, I tried to have an early night but the curtains didn’t meet properly or keep out the light very well

location. near to Sturt Reserve, and woolies. plenty of eateries nearby like Imperial, tasty wok within walking distance.

there's a bar next to it, on Friday nights and Saturday nights it can get quite happening, if you are an early sleeper then it might be a lil loud with people talking and saying goodbye after alcohol unless you have ear plugs. it didn't really bother me though because I use earplugs and I was quite tired when I arrived. other nights it's pretty much pin drop silence.

Everything was reasonable and as expected. When there was a need for help (via mobile) the phone was answered in a timely manner and the necessary assistance provided.

There was no indication to warn that we would have to carry bags up a flight of stairs - no elevator! I have a knee condition, which made this an issue. I would not have risked an aggravation of my knee condition had I known.

Location is great! A short walk from the mall, great dinner and lunch food places, and of course, not far from Adelaide! A good stopover point if coming from Melbourne or Mount Gambier or Naracoorte.

Hmm. The communal hallways felt really dark and cramped? Some better lighting (whether at our feet or above our heads) that stayed on / sensor light would really help with this.

Location was great, had a bit of trouble finding in the dark but once we did, no worries. Room was lovely and clean, bathroom is new and clean. Close by supermarket and pub, would stay there again. Had a problem opening the room door ( completely my fault ) but I rang Jess and she unlocked it on the spot for us. Wonderful service..

Great location. Comfortable room. Clean facilities. I had a quick response from Jess regarding access to the accommodation making entry easy. Place feels secure.

It can get noisy outside the premises from passers by as they leave nearby establishments. To be fair it was a Saturday night and it did settle down quickly. No fault of this place.

I’ve stayed here many times and every time the staff are amazing, the facilities maintained to an exceptional standard and the rooms are just the perfect blend of all the comforts of home with an air of elegance and the attention to detail that is a credit to the owners and staff who maintain it. Good location, clean, good shower. Comfortable beds. Towels/toiletries. Would stay again . Didn't see any staff but answered promptly and helpfully on phone call and text

Shared bathroom. Kitchen. . It seems to be an Australian thing for hotels to share bathrooms. More like a hostel with a private room than hotel.
