Very good location in town centre near beautiful park. A clean comfy room a little time worn. Better than what you might expect of a country hotel with lots of space, table for breakfast, large bathroom and air conditioning. Friendly helpful staff. The room was upstairs and parking was limited. The main photo for the hotel showed lots of parking and made me think there would be downstair rooms and that wasn't the case. Besides that everything else was fine and Strathalbyn is a charming town well worth a visit.

The staff were friendly, the room was spacious and the "box" of breakfast was pretty good. Location was excellent and it was quiet.

There was no spare toilet roll, even after the room was cleaned after my first night and the roll was almost empty. Power points in the bathroom hadn't been dusted for awhile and one of the down lights was flickering although possibly this was something that had only recently happened hadn't yet been reported to the hotel.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff very helpful and friendly. No need to go out for meals as the hotel itself has a great variety from the hotel restaurant situated on the ground floor, all this with the hotel situated in the middle of the town.

Limited parking, however you can park out front of the Hotel which I have done on numerous occasions!

Great location close to Park, Supermarket, Bakery Chemist all needs a few minutes walk away. Just great to go down stairs to have a meal value for money and delicious food 😋. The young blonde girl serving in restaurant was so friendly and helpful. Wish I had got her name she needs to be let know how awesome she is. She made us feel that nothing was a problem when we asked.

I have stayed at the Victoria in Strath a few times its a great gettaway for me to relax and leave the hussel and bussel of real life. The Victoria is rite in town and the park across the road is lovely. Great staff and rooms are great for the price.

The parking at the Victoria is not very good :( very tight little parking spots. But it is very safe to park on the street.

Location is excellent in the centre of a pretty town within an easy drive to wineries, beaches and other attractions of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The staff, particularly in the restaurant/bar area are friendly and efficient. The meals are good, although emphasis seems to be on size rather than quality (too big for us, need some smaller or "senior" options). The room we had is large and comfortable.

Housekeeping is a bit haphazard. We had to chase up the included continental breakfast, as it was not automatically provided. As mentioned above, there could be some smaller meal options in the restaurant.

We have stayed here before, so it was as comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient as we expected. The light breakfast was good (included in price and provided in room). This time we walked more around the historic town and gardens which are lovely. We had dinner in the hotel bistro and had the best roast lamb, so excellent meals again as they were the last time we stayed (about 12 months ago). Great to see the good standards are continuing! Thank you!

All good, we would stay here again. Onsite parking is very limited, but street parking seemed ok. We got a spot underneath the rooms.

Love the old hotel and refurbishment.

We have stayed before and loved it, but a bit disappointed this time. The front/lounge bar's floor was untidy. Obviously had a party/ function, but that had finished earlier and staff were still walking over torn serviettes and straws left on the floor when we came back to have a pre dinner drink.

Staff were most helpful, proactive, and professional. We felt helped out. The restaurant is marvelous! The meal was very tasty, the atmosphere charming; we had a great time! Thank you!

The room was a charm, quiet and cozy. However, we did not like to feel such intense food smell while staying inside. It started very early in the night already. Also, there was an ashtray in the balcony, which was not cleaned out.

Check in was great because we needed to be there earlier. So we were allowed in the room an hour early which was so helpful with the time of the wedding we were attending. The bed was comfy, the room was clean. The staff were exceptional. I would definitely stay here again.

I did really like all things but the room/bathroom could do with a little updating. But very clean and comfortable.
