Lovely park. 2 min drive from the centre of Hahndorf. So peaceful. We were travelling and needed accommodation for the night and so got the last cabin. It felt like we were in a resort not a caravan park. It was beautiful. Cabins seem pretty new and it's a credit to the park owners really. One bed cabin had its bedroom separate and its own air con which was really well thought out. Kitchen had everything for cooking but we didn't need to but it was all there. Lounge was comfy. Bathroom was gorgeous. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend a stay in their cabins up on the hill. Just beautiful.

Friendly staff, everything was clean and well maintained. I like how the facilities were within walking distance and the location was close to the main road. Plenty of towels were available in the room, which is great. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean, great for a family getaway.

Description of the room was a little misleading (stated there was outdoor dining- but room only had a patio bench available), wish there was more shade on the playgrounds and pool area. Stayed when the weather was +35°, so could only utilise the outdoor facilities when the sun started setting, more seating should be available by the pool, and bouncing pillow.

Great accommodation, clean and new. Very comfy beds. Kitchen had all essentials needed for a short stay. The food market across the road was fabulous and made self catering a delight! Hahndorf is also a great place to stay

Considering it is self catering we were surprised at the recycling facilities only provided for the bottles the site can get 10c back on - the rest we were told to bin so not very eco friendly! WiFi in our room was very patchy but as we were on holiday we’re relaxed about it.

Quiet. Wonderful family activities planned. Helpful staff.

The dish washing liquid was absolutely terrible. I would not have assumed that when we left, our crockery and cutlery was rewashed. The dish washing liquid supplied could not wash butter off of a plate. Let alone provide a cleanliness that would be adequate for today's requirements for the control of COVID and the other virus' that we now have to combat. The next visitor to our cabin would have to rely on us to clean our kitchen ware properly. Please improve this immediately.

We had an amazing stay at Discovery Parks – Hahndorf! The location is perfect—just a short stroll to the charming main street, yet the park itself feels peaceful and surrounded by nature. The cabins were spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The park has fantastic facilities, and beautifully maintained gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed.

I loved the location, my daughter loved to chase the rabbits and go on nature walks. The staff were wonderful, really good customer service skills. I loved how there were photos of SA inside the property, to showcase the good spots for travellers. The property also has a well equipped kitchen to use which was handy.

The property didn’t have many shortcomings to be honest. I would suggest a little more storage for clothes in the bedroom if anything and a fly screen for the back door towards the lake. It was a brilliant stay we loved it.

Great location and variety of accommodation types. The pizza and beer vendors on 12 April was a great idea however not well patronised, which was a shame as their products were very good.

Not really a big issue that I thought there would have been a room service after our first night. As there was only the 2 of us there was bathroom towels for 4. It may be that daily service was not included.

Clean, modern, spacious. Because it was summer they had food trucks on Friday and Saturday and other bits on movies and stuff for other people to participate with.

Would have loved a ceiling fan or screen door to be able to get the cool breeze from outside instead of having to turn the aircon on. Also they had smart TVs with the Netflix capabilities, but the TV wasn’t connected to the internet, so I couldn’t sign into my account. I also couldn’t even use my chromecast to connect to the internet to watch my shows.

The room was bright and clean. Modern bathroom. Lovely sunset views from the back of the property. Shared kitchen looked great - although we did not use it. Even had a herb garden!

We were in one of the hotel type rooms. It would have been handy to have a tea towel for when we washed up the cups. TV reception wasn't great (but we were only after news headlines - not there to watch TV!)

We were up the top of the park and everything was just so quiet and comfortable. rabbits out the back - so sweet! didn't spend too much time in the unit as we were out and about at Handorf and the Hans Heysen exhibition centre. the food mart across the road was exceptional and such great value. brought some goodies to bring home to Melbourne.

Perhaps a mention of the foodmart opposite would be useful.
