The location is amazing - the perfect spot for a getaway. It is so tranquil and instantly relaxes you. You cannot beat the outdoor bath overlooking the creek! There were lovely fresh breakfast provisions left for us, and you're only a short drive from all the conveniences of Aldgate. The cottage is very cozy, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing the local wildlife visit us too. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway spot!

There is nothing that could have improved our stay - it was wonderful.

Everything was exceptional! The location and surroundings were enchanting and very peaceful. The bread was amazing and the breakfast provided was just perfect. Everything you need is there for you. Taking a bath outside at night was absolutely enchanting.

Unfortunately the pillows were uncomfortable and too hard for me and I would love it if there was a soft and mouldable pillow (like some hotels use) for people like me that needs that kind of comfort for my neck and shoulders.

This would have to be one of the best bed and breakfasts I’ve stayed in. The cottage was gorgeous, the location was amazing, you felt like you were in another world and yet so close to all the beautiful places in the Adelaide Hills. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. The bath on the decking was amazing with all the birds around you and the running stream below you.

Nothing not to like

I loved everything about being here. So much so that I booked our next stay while I was there. It’s so lovely and cosy, I felt like I was living in a fairytale

Nothing I didn’t like, but would recommend a citronella candle for the bathtub area as the mosquitos were out in force!

Was blissfully peaceful. We had plans to go exploring the local attractions but once we arrived, we just wanted to hang out and relax.

The uneven path from the car park to the foot bridge but this was due to tree roots and I don't think it could easily be solved.

The place is absolutely stunning, the luscious forest, the trees, birds, and flower's,it's an adorable little cottage tucked in nature it's the perfect getaway to rewind and rest Beautifully clean and comfortable with all the amenities!!!

Everything! Vanessa provided a comfortable, clean and relaxing haven away from home. We enjoyed the breakfast provisions and having beautiful birds join us for breakfast.

Absolutely everything. The most tranquil and comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed the fire, the sound of the creek running under the bridge, the fairy lights and trees/plants around the outdoor bath. All the birds and ducks that came to say hello. The bed was absolutely beautiful to sleep in, so comfy!! 100/10 will stay again

Absolutely nothing! Perfection

Location in amongst the tree with a flowing creek. Level of comfort was wonderful and the visiting bird life was outstanding. Easy interaction with our host with perfect directions to the property, thank you. Really relaxing, all our stress disappeared. A wonderful property to visit.

Only being there for two days

Fabulous secluded location, great breakfast provisions and a beautiful, luxurious outdoor bath. Everything was as described in the listing and the experience of being so close to nature in very tranquil surrounds surpassed our expectations.
