My partner and I recently stayed at Jackson's Motor Inn, and we're still talking about how wonderful it was and still is, as we extended our stay. It wasn't just the comfortable room or the convenient location, though those were great. What really stood out was the incredible kindness of the staff. We hit a really rough patch during our travels – one of those unexpected moments that can throw your whole trip into chaos. Honestly, we were feeling pretty stressed and unsure what to do. The team at Jackson's didn't just do their jobs - they genuinely cared. They listened, offered real, practical help, and showed us a level of compassion that you just don't encounter every day. It felt like they truly went out of their way to make a difficult situation manageable for us, and that meant the world. The inn itself was a welcome comfort – clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed to regroup. But it's the people there who make Jackson's Motor Inn truly special. If you're looking for a place to stay where you'll be met with genuine warmth and support, especially if life throws you a curveball, we wholeheartedly recommend Jackson's Motor Inn. We left feeling so grateful for their help and will definitely be back. A huge thank you to everyone there – you were amazing.

The staff were excellent & always ready to assist. The location was very central to buses, shops & eateries. A lot of the supermarkets were walking distance. Microwave, kettle & toaster made it easy to have meals in the room.

Ongoing renovations were happening throughout the complex & the rooms were still being rented out. The day they were replacing the air conditioner in my room I needed to be out for nearly the whole day. The Manager had rung me the afternoon before to advise the work was being done @ 8am the next day. I was originally told it would be done in a couple of hours, so I declined a room move on that information. When I spoke to the Maintenance man early in the afternoon he said there were 2 other rooms near me being done as well so that is why it was taking so long.

The room was clean and tidy. Lots of clean towels and linens. Beds were made a couple of times in the week we stayed and the rubbish bins were emptied daily. A few shops nearby made it easy to get supplies.

The location is a little hard to get in and out of. But that is the most minor of issues. We have been home already, and I still don't have the room deposit back. Also, no email or notification advising any reason why.

I stayed at Jackson's Motel on several occasions, and it was always a pleasant stay. The rooms I stayed in were large and clean with updated bathrooms. The complex is quiet at night. The rooms are equipped with everything a traveller may need, including an iron/board and a microwave that some other motels often lack. The toiletaries, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are in large bottles instead of one use packing. The queen bed size was comfortable.

The room was very clean and tidy and bathroom was good with the water hot. We were very pleased to have a car park outside our room as the confirmation email stated it was a first in basis .the room had most of the basic facilities.

There was no facilities for us to use for our own foods which is hard for someone if they bring their own breakfast due to dietary requirements. The bathroom was adequate but had a very dated toilet and vanity and there was no bench to place our things.

The staff were lovely, would recommend over larger hotel groups.

It's such a convenient location and with free parking it just adds to its value. Staff are very friendly. I will be back again.

The location, the pool area & normally the staff & the price.

The mattress was hard & uncomfortable and the bond is stupid because it takes a long time to get it back especially if you have to leave early in the morning like I had to, I left @ 5am yesterday morning & still haven't received my bond back that's over 48 hrs so far 😡 Normally I really like staying at the Jackson's but lately it's been computer issues with our bookings & longer wait times, late bond returns & uncomfortable beds. 😥

Around the sink and shower was quite dirty. And the air-conditioner was too small for the size of the room. I don't think it was located in a good spot for the layout. There were a lot of drunk/drug people there fighting both nights we were there so that wasn't very good for the children. The good side is they enjoyed the pool (when able) due to the people fighting they stayed in the room for the most part of the first day. That is no fault of the accommodation itself.

Basic accommodation and good value for the cost. No frills but rooms clean and tidy. I stayed for one night and then for two nights later in the week. I was late booking in for my last two nights and they texted me to give me my room number and telling me that that the key was under the room doormat.

No real problems. Basic motel but some people expect a lot more for their money.
