Everything was as good or better than previous stays. Jasper is our preferred motel when coming to Adelaide. It's close to the city in a quiet location. The Tariff is economical and better than many city/suburban options. The welcome is friendly and the room is spotlessly clean. We used a basic double room this time but normally take one with two beds rather than one. However, it was just as expected, excellent and comfortable. The recent upgrade to some rooms has made them all the more pleasant. Loved the hot shower and the bathroom generally. Will be staying at Jasper for the foreseeable future.

I don't think there is much we didn't like.

The place has been renovated since my last visit and it's a MAJOR improvement. The price went up as well of course. But it's worth the higher price, it's worth staying here now. And it's about 10 minutes from the city center. Very easy to get around from here. Despite the few complaints, I would definitely stay here again.

The light coming in from outside. In the morning sunlight comes in through the bathroom door. It's translucent so it doesn't block the light coming through the windows at all. And at night the light from outside comes through the front windows making it hard to sleep. Some curtains would definitely be welcome here. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but not too bad really.

location is good

I was given one of the newly finished rooms. The bathroom was excellent. All brand new and well thought out and appointed. The bed was also new, slightly lower, making it easier to sit on for socks and shoes. The carpet was new. The furniture and fittings were all new, minimalist design, almost Scandinavian looking room. The walls were freshly painted with a nice muted texture. The windows were double glazed with internal Venetians. There was a new fridge and microwave, and they had all the crockery and cutlery I expected. The decor inside and out looks stylish and quite attractive. Overall, after being a customer who has stayed at the Jasper several times a year for 20 years, I am very impressed with the upgrade.

No concerns. I'm very impressed with the upgrades. I think they may upgrade their front doors as there remains a gap letting in air and light. I expect that the prices will rise as there was a small increase this week over the previous week. If they can remain within my budget, I will enjoy continuing to stay at the Jasper for my regular trips to and through Adelaide.

It has been good to be able to stay during the rebuilding of the Jasper. The shower's are now working well and the refurbishment of all the rooms are looking very nice. They have done a lot of work to upgrade their rooms. I have been staying there regularly for 20 years because of the location and price. Hopefully the price will not increase too much.

This trip there were no problems. There are still a few things to fix, such as cupboards and carpets. If the standard of the refit so far is an indication, I expect The Jasper will again be a charming and very attractive place to stay in a great location for everyone.

The Jasper are upgrading all their rooms and have only a few available so I was happy to be able to stay there again.

The brand new bathrooms are nice. However, the showers are a problem. The shower heads are way too low, and the 'tap' on off hot cold is one piece and very hard to adjust to a comfortable temperature. At that temperature the water pressure is very high, full pressure. Hence a lot of hot water and the new floor drain doesn't work well enough. The bathroom floods across to the toilet and does not have another drain. It was going to flood into the bedroom and I had to use the towels to stop it. The new shower fittings are going to be a big problem for guests. At least I have experience from European shower fittings so I could have a shower until it flooded. They need to completely change the fittings.

Very quiet, clean and modern, very comfortable beds. Quick access to town, plus main arterial roads to beach and hills. Excellent shower. Excellent value for money :).

Could have had a few more power-points, but I'm being picky here. A slightly larger table for eating from would have been a benefit, too - it was cramped even for one person, but again I'm being picky.

Size of the room and Inns location . Good size fridge and the freezer worked so we could refreeze our ice blocks for the Esky.

The room was obviously in the process of being upgraded and not completed. Unfinished painting. The brand new shower screen leaked on the toilet side. No toaster. Mattress was very firm, could do with a mattress topper to soften it a bit. Once it has been completed it will look much better.

We were in town for 3 nights/2.5 days, mainly to participate in an event in an adjacent suburb. The location was ideal, being only a few minutes from the event venue, take-away food vendors, and a great variety of other, quality eateries. Our needs were for a convenient, comfortable, quiet place to sleep, shower, and store our gear for the duration, and Jasper provided perfectly. Check-in after Reception hours was easy and arranged clearly and simply beforehand by our hosts. Check-out was similarly smooth and simple. We weren't looking for luxury, or accommodation "bells and whistles", and Jasper was ideal and great value at its price point.

We had a neighbour guest who was a smoker and lingered outside for a while, with some smoke coming in around the closed door. We switched on the air conditioner to create some positive pressure, and the smokiness cleared promptly.

The rooms have been completely renovated in recent months. The wall treatment is great, with new beds and linen and covers. Very nice. Completely renovated bathroom, shower toilet. A complete makover, with new cabinets everywhere. The room was comfortable and cosy, so I did not need to use the ac. New carpets. Quiet comfortable and classy without going over the top. Price this weekend was also good.
