Especially the spa bath although I wasn’t sure exactly how to work it. Comfortable mattress, pillows & linen. All the necessary kitchen facilities. Warm. Plenty of power points close to the bedhead for easy charging of devices while using them.

Ants appeared in the kitchen sink area without much to entice them. A partly drunk glass of orange juice was left unattended for perhaps 10 mins & about a dozen ants were quick to pounce. That doesn’t happen where I live. Also I couldn’t see any face washers with the towels that’s unusual for hotels & motels in my experience.

We stayed in Room 91 and were really pleased with it. The room was clean, fairly spacious, and nicely presented. The king bed was very comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

few things to be aware of: we had a spa room, and to use the shower you have to step into the spa bath, which can be quite tricky and slippery—so be very careful getting in and out. It would’ve also been nice to have a warmer quilt, as it gets very cold up there in winter. Lastly, only body wash was provided—no shampoo or conditioner—which was a little disappointing.

The room is spacious and comfortable. The lovely king-size bed was wonderful. The couch and tv are perfect and so too is the balcony with the table setting. The spa was excellent and never any issue with hot water. The place is quiet at night and the curtains on the sliding door block out the morning light. The kitchenette was perfect for having the odd breakfast in the room or keeping snacks for the afternoon siesta! We stayed 4 nights and were offered by the lovely staff to have our room cleaned each day but we declined as we had already been given plenty of towels etc for the stay. The location was fantastic as we could park the car and leave it there for our duration and walk up and down the main street to everything.

The bed is lovely but for us, a firm mattress is better. This mattress is found all over Europe but we have found for our needs and body aches and pains the firmer is better support. Also, just to let people know the car park is tight but we had no problems as both arriving and departing there was only one other car so we could move into the area. After reading all the wonderful comments I was looking forward to the view of the stream on the balcony, however we had the end apartment so our view was the carpark. We also during one day had two dogs incessantly barking in the park next door which led us to going out for cake and coffee.

Our room was sublime. We had a loft room and were upgraded. The room was 2 bedroom with open plan kitchenette, dining table and lounge area with a balcony off one of the bedrooms. The bathroom had a spa bath, and there was off street parking too. So much space, great layout and so handy to be able to use the kitchenette at times. The location was perfect - central so we could walk up and down the street and all of Hahndorf’s delightful bars, cafes, restaurants and shops were around us, either at the doorstep or a couple minutes walking distance away. Communication from Sophie and the Team was impeccable - kind, prompt, helpful and friendly. We had such a wonderful stay - it really enhanced our experience in Hahndorf. I would recommend this place in a heart beat and likely to stay again in future. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

We arrived on 27th Dec & stayed for 4 days. Obviously, it was peak tourism time, so we very much appreciated the on-site, off-street, safe parking available at the motel. The motel itself is perfectly placed in the middle of the busy Main Street strip - we had the luxury of exploring all the novelty stores, cafes, and restaurants with ease. It is also less than 20 minutes from Mt Barker, which has a big shopping plaza of you need a few extra things. I liaised with Sophie before, during, and after our stay - she is wonderful! She provided helpful advice and general support throughout our entire stay. The room was fit for purpose - clean, mini kitchenette (mini fridge/microwave), huge, comfortable bed, and generous size bathroom. The motel has its own breakout area with water features and picnic tables/chairs. I think the price was reasonable considering the time of year, location, motel grounds, and general amenities of the room.

Great location. Bed very comfortable. with good pillow selection. Mini kitchen with plenty of cutlery and crockery and microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee, selection of teas and mini milks in the fridge, bathroom with all you needed. No wardrobe but hanging space and plenty of hangers. Aircon and desk and good instructions for its use. Walk on to main street but quiet. Lovely big shower and plenty of storage in bathroom.

A small kitchen sink would have been nice but had no trouble using the bathroom one.

The room (loft room) was HUGE: we had tons of space in which to stay! Not only was it very comfortable, it had a great outdoor verandah which overlooked a cute little creek. It was SO relaxing to just sit outside with a glass of wine listening to the babbling of the creek, the resident ducks and frogs...medicine for the soul! As a bonus, our host Sophie was very friendly and obliging. Oh, and did I mention the excellent location on the main street of Hahndorf? Easy walking distance to everything!

I'm being REALLY nitpicky here...car parking can be a little tricky...there is not much space and you have to be careful in the undercover car park as there are columns that can bite!

Centrally located right on the Main Street. Lovely large room in the loft king room, modern and sparkling clean with back facing balcony perfect for a morning coffee amongst the trees and birds. Large spa bath although we didn’t use it. Awesome water pressure!! Kitchenette either basic amenities.

There really isn’t anything major except I wish motels/hotels would provide bathroom sinks with space for your toiletries. Decorative sinks don’t work for this lol! Fridge could use a freezer that actually freezes :(. But that’s really fishing for something to improve!

I expected a bedroom and bathroom, we got a large kitchen, large bathroom with spa bath - excellent

Check in worked because we called early to leave our bags. (Luckily someone was around and we were able to pick up the key) I believe it is normally done through a text message. However because we were travelling from England we couldn't receive texts., so messages were sent via Booking.com on email, again we couldn't access the email without a wifi signal. Luckily there was a free Wifi nearby which we logged onto to find the information. The other issue was that the free Wifi only worked in the bathroom!

With a fractured foot, I was grateful for the level room close to the front of the hotel. We were early for check-in just to see if we could park, but the reception lady gave the room the final mop over so that we could go in straight away, and although I didn't need it, she offered a chair for the shower. (Shower was really spacious) The room was larger than expected and very clean and comfortable. Smack bang in the centre of town - great for exploring this quaint little town.
