I had a great experience at the Bridgeport Hotel. The location was ideal, the food was delicious, and the room was spotless and exceptionally comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in—made for a truly restful stay. The meals were also impressively generous; the portions were so large we couldn’t even make room for dessert! Staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was quick and seamless. ] All in all, a lovely stay—I’d happily return.

Noise coming from the open kitchen was at times overly loud and prevented us from our conversation.

Location was excellent, right in the middle of the town and next to a large shopping mall with lots of shops. Liquor store literally in the backyard of the hotel, and lots of small restaurants with take-away options very close too. Easy walk down to the riverside and along the beautiful landscaped gardens and walkways, lots to watch on the river with boating and kayaking, coffee options nearby and lots of community based activities. We loved the view from our hotel room of the river, seeing the trains come over the bridge, and some amazing sunrises. Room was very clean, facilities were excellent. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was very large, loved the sliding wall options. Also loved our balcony. Staff were so friendly and helpful, and ensured that our daughters who also had a booking, were on the same floor and right across the corridor from us.

I enjoyed the hotel a lot, I was coming back to Adelaide the next week and thought I could stay at Bridgeport and drive up and back everyday but when I checked at the reception the prices went from apx $170 a night for 2 people (what I was paying) to apx $230 a night for a single! I didn't seem to make sense so I didn't book and booked something closer to Adelaide. I would have thought you would want a returning customer but I guess that's your call. I did love the hotel and location though.

Easy check in. Great location - close to the shops and a great noodle take away. Beautiful views of the river. Staff are friendly and helpful. There's someone at the desk 24 hrs. Easy access to secure carparking. Love the balcony and very much appreciate the ashtray provided. Spacious rooms with comfy beds.

No cutlery or plates in the room and need extra towels. The toiletries provided aren't very nice to use... the moisturiser & conditioner aren't at all hydrating. Please change them. We also don't like when we have to leave...kids in particular.

Room was modern, very well set out, view over the river was beautiful, showers was excellent, bed was large and very comfy & pillows were perfect for my liking. Staff were welcoming, efficient and professional. The sound insolation to the out side was excellent there was no audible street noise once the big glass doors to the balcony was shut, you'll have a great night sleep.

The lighting in the room, it was way to bright over the bed and I couldn't find any dimmer option not very comfortable when you 1st wake up and you turn the lights on. This is really the only issue we had with the room. We didn't rate the food, it was nice but very average quality for the price you paid, we had breakfast on both mornings as part of the deal and we had dinner on Saturday night which we paid for.. Unfortunately we found that the all the meats were a little over cooled .. Bacon for breakfast was dry, the lamb ribs I had for dinner was over cooked, it was like they had deep fried the lamb ribs. My wife's Ceaser Salad had what we are guessing was the left over bacon from breakfast diced and added to the salad it was very dry and crispy.

Absolutely loved our stay at Bridgeport. We loved everything about it. Friendly, warm and welcoming staff members. The food was delicious, we also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. We admired the design and layout of our room it definitely made us feel like we were overseas. The gym is small but has what you need. The pool was clean, nice and warm - I was so lucky enough to catch the sunrise whilst in the pool at 6am on the dot stunning views and an amazing way to start my day! Check in and check out was a smooth process. It was our first stay and will definitely not be our last we are already looking forward to returning with family for the next long weekend or getaway!!

Free nibbles a surprising and appreciated offering. Room very comfortable and spacious. Great views. Easy access from car park. Appreciated the late check out.

I found the TV hard to work. Streaming services hard to log on (I already have these services). The keyboard is extremely rudimentary e.g., no 'gmail.com' option. no easy '@'. Can't the Hotel provide things like Netflix and Foxtel? I'm close to 80 and these things could be made simpler. Room extremely dark at night. Needs a night light or at least the switches should be illuminated (black switches on the black wood - hard to locate at night.

We found the menu and presentation to be excellent for both evening meals. Chaira gave excellent service, and had 'insider knowledge' about the Musical Comedy [Stepping Out], which we enjoyed at the Arts Centre.

We received no instruction on the best way to go about the self-serve breakfast but were just given a dinner plate each. As the hotel was unfamiliar to us, we served the hot part of the meal earlier than we needed, so it was cold by the time we ate it. There was no decaf coffee available unless we purchased it at the bar. This also applied to the room where there was no decaf option available.

Breakfast was delicious. Chef happy to fry us a couple of eggs. Chef also poached some eggs for other patrons too. We had a city view balcony room. Sensational. Bed is very comfortable. Room is very cosy and clean. Complimentary bottled water is a nice gesture too. Thank you for an amazing weekend. We will be back. Actually next week in fact!

Could not access Kayo to log in . I called the front desk but they were not able to assist with a positive outcome. A microwave would be handy.

I've stayed here several times now. It's a great get away. Rooms are very spacious and the king-sized bed is the best. It's quiet, and the bathroom is excellent too. Quite large, although this rooms configuration was strange with the toilet door going across the vanity basin, but no biggie. Turning the shower on from close to you and not under the shower head was very good thinking. Oh, and any place that has a mixer tap in the shower is always going to win brownie points from me. Breakfast the next morning was good.
