It was quite hot during our stay so the pool was great, it was clean & heated, the only thing is it could possibly benefit with a shaded area over part of the pool as the sun was extreme. Had a microwave. The grounds were well maintained & clean. Hosts were warm & welcoming. Close proximity to Main Street/Town.

The lighting in the room wasn’t great, only wall sconces & too hot to leave the blinds open. No option to purchase breakfast, but did have kettle/toaster & microwave. This could have done with another power point for microwave as had to move it to plug in. The room was a little compact for 3 adults & no couch, had to sit on beds.

Perfect for our stay at Alexandra on an exceptionally hot Saturday night. We enjoyed the pool very much. We grew up staying in Motor Inns like this all over Australia. Lovely hosts. I got the feeling that nothing would be too much trouble. What you see in the photos is what you get, clean & comfortable. Walking distance to an excellent evening meal & breakfast the next morning. Have recommended it to family members & others. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Thanks Cassie & Bade.

Great location for cyclists. Outdoor secure area for bikes. We could also leave our bikes inside overnight at owner’s suggestion! We nearly booked upstairs room at a nearby pub, which might have been a problem for bikes secure storage. This was all on ground level, very quiet, but still easy to walk to both centre of town, and a short ride to rail trail start/finish.

It's a great place to stay at affordable rates. Pool, multiple BBQ options, great living areas, and outdoor areas for families to enjoy! Highly recommended. Photos are exactly as they are shown. It has a good size pool to enjoy and it's very well maintained. (Clean pool) It's a great place to get together!! The owners are really friendly and accommodating too.

Good sized rooms, very clean and spacious. Overlooks a lovely large pool in relaxing really beautiful gardens. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Great location and easy walking distance to cafes and close to Great Victoria Bike Trail.

Looks a bit run down from the street but do not let that deter you. It's really lovely once inside.

Comfy bed, quiet room, dark room, lovely view to pool and green grass. The room didn't have the deodoriser smell that you usually get in motel rooms.

It was quite dark around the tea/coffee area. There was a light there to help. That is the only thing.

The propriety was clean, garden space for kids to play and explore, and had free parking. Nice pool. Comfy beds. The shower pressure was amazing. And for the money we paid and had a great stay. We will come to this place again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, it was a short walk to the town without having to take your car..

If there was anything I didn't like, it was that the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, and with phone service not so great, Wi-Fi would be greatly appreciated..

The pool was fabulous. The unit was meticulously clean and the bed and bedding, like sleeping on a cloud. Just great after a long ride from Bonnie Doon along the Rail Trail. A short stroll to the main shopping drag and great food.

There was really nothing worthy of mention.

The staff were SO welcoming and friendly! A very comfortable and happy stay!

I just wish i could have had a swim in the heated pool!! i brought my bathers and it looked so inviting but it was unfortunately locked.
