We didn’t have breakfast. Location was good and walkable to everywhere we wanted to go cafes etc Beds were comfortable and sheets excellent quality.

The bedside table was timber and the door had a broken hinge so when I opened the door it fell on to the floor as it had no fixing to the cabinet. The bathroom was nice but the only light had a pull cord and the lightbulb died after one pull. This was probably a fuse failure but there was no one on site to ask and when I called the contact mobile on the welcome email instructions no- one responded over the weekend .

Absolutely loved the accommodation. Was clean, warm comfortable value for money. The facilities in the Apartment perfect. Loved the gas log fire certainly made the room warm and inviting on a cold night. The Balcony with table and chairs was a bonus with lovely views. The kitchenette was perfect and lots of kitchenware for eating in. The lounge has 2 very comfy couches. The hot water was in abundance and the bathroom spacious with a spa bath. Would definitely recommend to say here. Apartment 5 2 bedroom Parking right outside the room. The staff especially Jason was very friendly and easy to contact.

The location and the layout of the apartment is excellent. It is perfect for a weekend away with friends giving us all enough space to lounge around. The lounge/living area is so light and airy and comfy. The gas heater does an excellent job on those cold mornings and nights. I always enjoy my stay at the Albert and will continue to visit for many years to come.

Having stayed at the Albert for many years it has taken me awhile to get used to it being totally contactless. Ziggy (and Elaine) the previous owners were always on hand for a chat or to go to if you needed something for your room. The kitchen isn't as well stocked with appliances as it used to be but it does have a microwave and a toaster. We purchased some wine glasses from the Salvos as there were only two (stemless, plastic) wine glasses in the cupboard. Fairly minor things to mention as I now know what I need to bring when I do stay (wine glasses, coffee plunger and food that is microwaveable). A heater in the bathroom would be good on those cold winter mornings.

Very small bathroom. We thought that a bath was included. Lack of mugs, bowls and glasses, as we needed this as there was no food facilities on the venue. We brought our own food and wine. You are supplied via text with a number to gain access to a drop box to get the room key, which works well, but the lack of anyone to talk to on arriving about local facilities is a downside. There is an offsite number for queries. Absolutely no view from the room as it borders onto a high brick wall about 2 feet away from the window

Thank you for the free upgrade from double room to King spa apartment! I had a lovely relaxing time. Beautiful building. Location is quiet, very warm, cosy, comfortable bed, nice decor and attentive staff, available via phone.

The knob on the bath to divert water from showerhead to bath tap wasn't working so took a while to fill the spa bath. It'd be nice to have some more hot drink options. There was a very small amount of Nescafe coffee sachet and Lipton tea. I thought it would be pods machine as the Ad said coffee maker. Perhaps some decaf coffee sachets and herbal tea would be good. Just a note for others - there is a microwave only however there are cooking utensils such as ladles and spatulas so I'm not sure if there sometimes is a hot plate?

The hotel is in a very convenient location, check-in process was very straightforward. The room was very warm and cosy with ample facilities for a short stay. The gas fireplace in the lounge room was a very nice touch given it was so wet and cold outside. There's also separate heating in the bedrooms which was a huge help as it was so cold outside. The bathroom was great and the spa was really comfortable for two people. The bed was comfortable however the pillows are fairly soft. Not a negative aspect at all as it's a personal preference but something to keep in mind. Absolutely great stay and we'll be back again soon!

There was some outside light coming in through the higher windows which can be disorienting in the middle of the night. Keep this in mind if you're a light sleeper, or bring a sleep mask.

The separate bathroom to my room...very 1970's! I was able to change rooms thanks to the awesome staff, the room I was given needed a little love. There was a not so nice smell coming from the bathroom and the shelf in the bathroom was falling off the wall. Found a few things on the floor, cup and a lid, which made me think that it wasn't cleaned before I got there. The location was awesome and the staff extra helpful which is why the 'things' I noticed were easily overlooked.

Location Cleanliness Warm & Cosy

Very noisy- especially when people are talking outside in the corridor. They sounded like they were in our room Very loud in our room when neighbour showered… No milk on arrival… only to be told delivery didn’t arrive. If I was the staff member I would have just driven to Cole’s and bought more milk instead of making excuses. We did get milk eventually, but all the tea bags in the container were tangled… they should be individually wrapped for hygienic purposes … after all we are in the new era of COVID… horrible teabags all tangled in the box … yuk

Stayed here before. Room is more like an apartment. Good value for its size. Checking in/out of room was so easy. Park right infront of room. Gas heater on when i arrived and it was very welcomed on a cold day. Quiet room and centrally located in daylesford. Will stay again.

Considering i was staying 2 nights they only provided about 4 sugars (but hotel staff at frangos and frangos were happy to supply me with more). Cleanliness wise it was not bad but i found a stray hair in shower, spa and bed. Otherwise was ok.

Liked having the dining room to spend time in. Loved having a window that could OPEN. Staff were accommodating with giving us the code in person, as we did not have a phone. Perfect position, and proximity to town. Lovely dressing gowns provided to travel to bathroom in.

Room was very small - 2 suitcases could barely be opened inside. Garden outside window, although cute, was just weeds. If we're being picky, would be nice to have glasses, as we ate our dinner in the dining room.
