We loved pretty much everything! The view was beautiful from our room. Everything was super clean and tidy. The room was furnished beautifully. We felt calm and relaxed the whole time. The man who we saw doing a few things around the place was friendly also. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

Only negatives would be that there were no beach towels supplied, and the mattress. I know most would pack their own beach towels but as people who don’t live near a beach this would’ve been a helpful room item. The mattress was worn out which made for uncomfortable sleeping at times

Our stay at Lorne Surf Apartments was nothing short of amazing! The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and had all the comforts of home. The staff were kind and responsive after we noticed we forgot some things and had to go back and pick it up. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining the property, and it truly feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend for couples, families, or anyone wanting a relaxing coastal getaway. We’ll definitely be back and book through their own website next time!

No smart tv

The apartment was very spacious with modern comfortable furnishings, we especially loved the patio with lounge chairs and full size patio dining set! Beautiful view off the patio with lots of birds coming to visit us daily, we would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom and kitchen were functional however they are in need of an upgrade to match the rest of the apartment. In the pictures were saw other upgrades in other units so am assuming this is something they might be doing soon.

A beautiful property in a fabulous location. The way it is furnished is really lovely and comfortable, and the use of indoor plants in the room and common areas makes it feel really warm and welcoming. The use of mostly native plants in the outdoor gardens is wonderful and makes the setting just right. It is a short walk to the beach, cafes and Foodworks (supermarket). The bathroom and room are really nicely renovated with a really comfortable bed, and we had a fabulous balcony with a Seaview. We will be back!

It just needs a Nespresso pod machine, although it does have a plunger.

The unit is very tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the 20 minute walk into Lorne and found the location to be peaceful and relaxing.

I decided to pay extra as the description was Balcony Studio with Ocean Views. There are ocean views from the balcony and I did enjoy sitting there however most of the time inside the unit the view is of the back of a house. I think some other rooms may have better views but I was disappointed with our view.

This beautifully renovated holiday accommodation exceeded all our expectations. The modern decor was stunning, with thoughtful touches like lush plants in the room and foyers that created a soothing and relaxed atmosphere. The large screen TV with Netflix made it easy to unwind indoors, while the sheltered balcony was perfect for sitting outside in the late afternoon sun, even during winter.

One small bonus would have been a Nespresso coffee machine and some extra toiletries in the bathroom, but overall, the experience was fantastic.

Very big room on the ground floor, well equipped and nice to easy step outside on the small "garden". We had a big bathroom with whirlpool tub that we used as a shower, it was very comfy. Very comfortable bed and in general we enjoyed our short stay for one night. Check in was super easy and parking available right in front of the house.

The advertised ocean view was only available when you were standing directly at the windows, but still nice:)

The property is beautifully maintained and well set out… To have such a lavish balcony overlooking the ocean in apartments in Lorne is truly something special… Immaculately clean, great value for money. I have stayed there before and will be coming back again. It’s my new ‘go to’ on the great Ocean Road 😁

I didn’t like the fact that I had to leave, but hopefully I’ll be back again soon

The room is nice, has a modern Mediterranean look to it. Quite spacious with everything you'd probably need like a microwave, cutlery, plates, dish washing liquid, etc. Quiet area. The hotel is keyless, so they'll send you access details by email. No staff onsite as far as i know. The view was nice, not a straight view of the ocean but good enough for me. Was very pleasant to hear the ocean from the room.

While the location is good, it does require a walk uphill if not using a car. Good exercise, but people with mobility issues should be aware of that. The mattress was perhaps a little firmer than I'm used to, but i had a pretty good sleep all the same.

Beautiful apartment with a view of the sea. So peaceful and quiet with all the homely bits we needed to make our stay comfortable. Easy instructions to follow to enter the apartment/park car etc and just a short walk/drive to the main part of Lorne. The apartment itself is comfortable and stylish with a beautiful bathroom and gorgeous shower. Tea and coffee provided and air con kept us comfortable on a very warm evening!

I found the bed a little uncomfortable but this may be down to personal preference. Everything else was great.
