The location of the property was magnificent . When we arrived, the signs to follow made it easy to find reception and follow the map to our cabin. It was spacious, really clean and it felt like home. It was fully equipped, and made cooking really easy for dinner. The only thing I would of liked is the door handle to our cabin up higher (as it’s right at a child’s height, and you can’t lock the door from the inside, so was a bit of a safety issue for us having an almost 2 year old) . We would definitely book this location for our next stay in Apollo Bay. Thank you ☺️

Great views, great pillows, the bedroom was nice and dark. Firewood and paper supplied. Good heater. It was great that there were spare blankets because i don't like doonas (i find them to be too hot). Lovely & quiet, secluded spot where you feel like you are out in the bush. Nice hot shower with good pressure.

The liquid hand soap, body wash and combined shampoo conditioner were poor quality & very unpleasant so I didn't use them: too harsh. i had to go get my own soap, shampoo & conditioner. There were no tools provided for the fireplace which meant it was unsafe to use. There should have been some tools next to the fireplace. Very thin toilet paper. Noisy digital door lock that beeps very loudly many times to open the door so you cant come in quietly. It doesn't need to beep. It should be silent.

Quite a few different types of accommodation on offer, all dotted on the hillside but with plenty of seclusion. Our villa was in a row of four, but all weekend we saw just two other people on the entire complex. The rooms were clean, tidy and well appointed. Beds were uber-comfortable and even the internet worked! Lots of wildlife, trees and stupendous views. We loved it!

To be honest, there was nothing we didn't like. Though the buildings are not brand new, this is in keeping with the area: concrete monstrous constructions would be awful!

No complaints! Can’t wait to return. Some little suggestions to enhance the “5star” experience are: -Add finishing touches like, dvds for the player, board games, maybe books. -Perhaps some more fire starters/matches, a poker stick etc for longer stays. And even setting up the fireplace before arrival is a great addition -Oil for cooking, and some bigger dinner bowls for meals

Views are absolutely stunning. You can stay in the accommodation all day long and just watch the ocean change the colours! Such a serenity! Peaceful and quiet. Clean and has everything you need for few days stay

The checking process was the weirdest ever! I booked via Booking.com just to have envelope with no entry code and wrong phone number to call. After checking email and finding right number, the rude person answered the call and asked to give him my credit card as a bond. He asked to charge $200 bond that will be returned up to 2 weeks after we checked out. I have been travelling to over half a century and this is the strangest checking I have even experienced. Not only that, but management did not reply any calls, messages nor email when I contacted them during our stay (we had blocked kitchen sink)

We had a wonderful time here. The view was amazing and the apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed. It was very windy the first 2 nights we were here & the sound of the wind howling made it difficult to sleep, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The check-in process wasn't the best. We were given a phone number to call for the access code for check-in after hours. Tried calling several times before it finally went through - thankfully we had a roaming plan which allowed us to make international calls. No detergent provided for the washing machine.

So we travel a lot and there are many places that don’t feel homely and are not very clean at all. But for some reason, this one felt very homely and was most certainly clean! I don’t usually feel comfortable laying on the carpet playing games with the kids but this carpet was spotless. The magpie family were very cute trying to sneak in and the Weber Facility was a great touch and was well equipped!😊

We were not allowed to use the indoor fireplace which was a little sad as it was something we looked forward to but our stay was still great regardless.

The View! Excellent!! Watching the weather rolling in & out was an amazing experience, all whilst toasty warm inside - or stepping out on the deck to smell the freshness of the after-rain scents. The location was perfect, allowing me to enjoy a sense of personal Retreat, with easy access to Apollo Bay & surrounds. The bed was very comfortable, offering an excellent view - perfect for watching changing moods of the ocean and enjoying cheeky Blue Wrens’ morning visits, tapping on the window and whistling. Also loved the bath - perfect for a long, hot soak after a relaxing swim at Apollo Bay’s Aquatic Centre.

The only (small) downside for me was the lingering smell of smoke - most likely from previous guests’ use of the wood fire. This made me hesitant to light a fire (sensitive sinuses!); instead, I opted to utilise the AC just to take the chill off in the mornings & evenings. But the added ambiance of a crackling wood fire would be the icing on the cake at this special location.

A quiet location with a superb view. Even being 3km from the ocean you could still hear the waves of an evening and check out the waves for a surf! The rooms were a good size and the deck great to sit out and enjoy all the birdsong. A really peaceful place to be. Also the room was spotless and freshly painted.

The tennis court was a bit bumpy, the ball bounced at strange angles at times, but we were only just having a hit so it did not really matter. At least we did not lose a ball.

The view was amazing. The place was super organised and clean, one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed, definitely recommended!

After checking in (self-check-in), they called to grab my credit card details for a $200 fee that would be returned after a few business days. I wasn't with my credit card then as I was having dinner. I promised to call them back later that night but completely forgot, given I was tired of the long hours driving. Anyway, I think this is a process they should avoid, I had already paid for the accommodation, and they could have used the same credit card I had previously saved. Anyway, as feedback, they should improve this, as having to call to give CC details to someone you don't know via the phone doesn't sound safe to do nowadays given the number of scams we have in Australia. However, this does not sound like something I would reconsider when booking their accommodation again.
