We ended up staying another night because the atmosphere is so positive, we had a great 5 day trip - the convenience of being on the main road full of great places to eat and having the best pub in town at our doorstop was great. A special shoutout to Jacob, Jamie and Chris (the amazing and most contagiously friendly staff i have ever had the pleasure of coming across). The facilities were always clean and i can’t wait to come back again

Location in central Apollo Bay. Awesome beer selection, esp the dark beers. Worth staying on site to be able to do more tasting. Comfortable bed. Good value.

It's an old pub - so small rooms, old shared bathrooms etc. Window didn't open. Limited access to one side of the bed. Fairly early bar closing on the night we were there.

Location and history of building. Restaurant was great and loved the kids eat free on Friday night when we stayed.

Bathroom facilities could have been cleaner. Staff seemed to ignore me on arrival. Once served I really appreciated someone showing us up to the room.

It’s situated close to the shoreline, just parallel to shops and amenities. They serve beer if you want to chill in the evening. It’s is affordable and comfortable! Would come back again, and I recommend you guys to check this place out!

Nice location. The rooms are basic with the beds and a sink with vanity.

It would be nice to have a kettle in the room or in the area next to the community fridge.

Close to everything we needed. Room wasn’t too flash, just a bed but exactly what we needed for a pit stop over the Great Ocean Road. Staff was lovely.

Friendly bar staff for check in. Easy and quick process. Nice to have after hours access through rear of accommodation. The room and shared bathrooms are minimalist, but meet the basic needs and you have multiple food and beverage outlets well within walking distance.

shared toilet/bathroom is fine but only 1 toilet/shower per male and female and 1 unisex, but were not cleaned from what we gather was a busy prior Saturday night

The bed was super comfortable! Easy access to and from the bar and a great location with great friendly host!

Rooms are pretty outdated (we didn’t mind, it was fair for the price) and there were many dead flies in the room. It was very loud in the room but when around 23:00 the music was turned off it turned quiet quickly so we could have a nice night’s sleep.
