Location was great, in walking distance to centre. The room was very spacious, clean and had kitchen with stove and microwave and is fully equipped for cooking. AC/heating was good and quiet. Lady at reception was very welcoming.

Our bed was a bit sagging in the middle. The red sofa in the room looked very run down with lots of scratches and rips and I didn't feel like sitting on it. The room would actually look better without it. Car space was a bit tight for our 4WD, especially when a car was parked next to it, but we managed. For the price we paid, we had better accommodation in Apollo Bay.

Parking excellent. We parked right outside our accommodation. Wifi was easy to access and speed excellent. The room was a good size and there was a fridge, toaster, kettle, cutlery, plates, dishes, cups and a variety of glasses. The lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful. We used the laundry room, dryer and outside drying line, which were very good.

The main areas of the room were clean but the edges of the carpet and ceiling fan were very dusty. There was light dust on the lamps and chairs.

Wonderful woman at check in who made recommendations for our trip along the Great Ocean Road. Nice, small motel, reminds me of travels in my childhood. Room was small but had everything we needed. A microwave would have been nice but we didn’t really need one. Comfy bed but rather soft. Quick walk to the grocery store for breakfast supplies. Nice to have a bench outside the room to sit at.

Bathroom was very small. No room to put toiletries. Wouldn’t dissuade me from staying again though!

It was very comfortable for our night stay. Beds were very comfy and we got a good nights rest. We were within walking distance to find somewhere to eat, as there are no facilities in your room to cook but there is a microwave in the laundry you can use and also a bbq on the premises but as we arrived later than planned this was not an option. We had three to room.(our choice) One queen bed and one single. As an overnight or 2 day stay it would be great. Perhaps if you were staying longer and had big bags you may find the room a bit small.

Was met on arrival by the nice lady who was very helpful with suggested places to eat. She also gave me a free upgrade to a room with a spa bath. Room was really nice and seemed to have all you'd need for a long stay though I was only there for 1 night. Location was a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and restaurants / cafes.

Me and a mate booked a room as we were riding the Great Ocean Road and got caught out with a bad weather day. When we arrived looking like drowned rats, we were told we had been moved to a larger room which would help us dry our gear. This was at no charge and we did not ask for it, but it was a god send. The motel staff were happy and obliging. It is in a quiet location, within walking distance to shops, hotels, and restaurants. The rooms and bathroom were spacious and clean, and it also had good amenities.

We felt that the bathroom and kitchen were a bit dated and tired looking. The bush adjacent to Room 7's carport encroached on the carport, which made it tight to access some of the doors on our parked car!

Large bathroom (frosted) window, no curtains. Showered in the dark. The key to the room was in an envelope outside reception door. Key should have been placed in a far more secure location in a more secure way, whether from staff at reception or a coded lockbox.

At the time of check in the owner of the motel upgraded us to a huge family room with a full kitchen at no extra cost.What a lovely surprise! That is good old fashioned great customer service.The room was lovely and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay.You can walk into town with ease and the motel is on a quiet street.We would stay here again next time we are in Apollo Bay.

Only wish we could have stayed longer as there is a lot to see and do here!

Great location to the local pubs, restaurants and beach, friendly owner and great local knowledge, apartment was clean and suited our needs, I would recommend and stay again.

Furnishings seemed a little dated. Television free view/standard channels choice was poor (log in to view seemed to be the only option).
