The views from the villa are amazing. We loved sitting on the balcony, admiring the view. We got up early to see the sunrise.The breakfast was very good.

The accommodation was a little bit more basic than we expected. From the photos I expected the villa to be more luxurious for the last night of our trip. There were only 2 towels and there were 4 of us (we didn't mention this as we arrived after staff had left and only stayed one night). The restaurant was closed for dinner when we stayed, which was disappointing. We were advised of this after booking but before arrival.

We came on vacation with family and originally planned to book two rooms, but they were fully booked — only Unit 1, a two-bedroom apartment, was still available. Overall, the room had great value for money. Coffee, tea, and other amenities were thoughtfully provided. We had dinner at Chris Restaurant and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We even asked the waiter for wine recommendations — both wines were excellent! Sadly, we didn’t take photos or note down the names. If the restaurant staff happen to see this and can tell us what those wines were, I’d be absolutely thrilled! I have a feeling they must be popular among both staff and guests! The next morning, we were lucky enough to catch the sunrise over the mountains and ocean — it was breathtakingly beautiful. Breakfast at the hotel was also wonderful — a wide variety of choices, all delicious. We especially loved the apple pie baked by the chef! Wishing the business continued success and prosperity!

Our family had a fantastic weekend at Chris’s Beacon Point. The place was absolutely stunning—with fabulous views of both the ocean and the mountains. It felt peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a short getaway. The villa was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for four adults. We really enjoyed sitting back and taking in the scenery—it was the highlight of our stay. The location also felt private and serene, yet still close to attractions around Apollo Bay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great place to unwind as a family.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi. It was a bit inconsistent and kept disconnecting at times. While it wasn’t a big issue for us because we were mostly enjoying the views and each other’s company, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re planning to work or stream during your stay.

The location s stunning and the view from the room and balcony is breathtaking and unique. This is a great venue when touring the GOR. The restaurant is a bonus; the food was excellent at dinner and service was attentive and friendly. They have a very good wine list. Dinner is 6-9pm. The continental self serve breakfast had fresh croissants and Greek speciality pastries which were delicious. There were good options including smoked salmon. We used the portable heater as the temperature fell surprisingly lower than expected and the lounge-kitchen is open plan. The hob and kitchenware were useful; we cooked steak. The shower was hot with good pressure. There is allocated parking per villa. The resort access road on the right and signposted a few minutes further than Evan’s Lookout if you’re approaching from Skenes Creek. You can easily day visit the 12 Apostles, Maits rainforest and Otway Fly from this location. We also enjoyed driving Turtons tourist road through the forest.

Even better if: The rooms would benefit from re painting and more personal decor for the price point to make the rooms sumptuous to match the quality of the restaurant experience. The WiFi in our room was very weak and didn’t support international calls or news streaming or use of our travel apps. It made sorting logistical day trip planning and contact with future accommodation very slow.

The views from both the room and restaurant were spectacular with a balcony with a view of the ocean from the hillside. Many exotic parrots visited us and wallabies were seen grazing in the am. There were floor length windows everywhere. Absolutely awe inspiring. The staff was exceptional, very friendly, ready to please and absolutely wanting to ensure your experience was exceptional. The food was wonderful and there was an extensive wine list. We stayed at the villas for 4 nights and ate on site 2 of the nights. A very nice continental breakfast was served each morning and included with the room. The location was nice. About 10 mins from the town of Apollo Bay. That area serves as a good base point to stay a while and take day trips along the great ocean road and into the Otways.

The rooms were clearly in need of updating which tended to give the impression the cleanliness was lacking, but honestly I do think the facility was clean. I can imagine that in its hayday this was truly a 5 star lodging. I hope someday it will be again. The property is currently up for sale.

The views are truly amazing! Loved seeing the king parrots and kookaburra’s on/from the balcony. Everything you need is in the villa, it’s comfortable and the Bathroom, kitchen and kitchen items are good quality. Onsite restaurant was wonderful for evening meal and breakfast. Good parking. We loved it!

When we arrived the villa was roasting but it was 42 degrees outside! Air conditioning helped in lounge after a while but bedrooms don’t have air con and were initially very hot. Windows do have slidable insect screens so was able to ventilate room and it did cool in the evening. Had issue with bathroom door which was dealt with straight away. Any initial small niggles were outweighed by the stunning views.

The location and the view are absolutely top-notch. Waking up to the breathtaking sea view from both the bedroom and the living room was truly unforgettable. The property offers excellent facilities that are great value for money, making the stay even more enjoyable. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained, which added to the comfort and relaxation. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely love to come back again.

The path leading to the villas and restaurant is lengthy and secluded, providing an element of surprise and a unique experience. The elevated position of the villa offers a captivating view of the surrounding landscape. The staff demonstrates exceptional friendliness and professionalism, while the culinary offerings are of the highest caliber. Upon waking, we were delighted to encounter two iconic Australian animals, a wild koala and a kookaburra, enhancing the overall experience. The villa's heating system effectively maintains a comfortable temperature in the living area, and the heated beds ensure a cozy and restful sleep during the cold winter months.

The toilet bowl could use some cleaning.
