Excellent location and the view was very good. Room was spacious with comfortable bed. Our unit had two interconnected rooms. Wifi was fast. Great balcony with good views.

Although this wasn't a problem but found that gentleman at the reception couldn't understand English and was using some translating app to communicate. Wasn't a bother whatsoever. The rooms were good although they do require a bit of maintenance. Door handle of the bathroom in room 212 was broken.

Excellent location for walking into town and eating at the local cafes. Very hospitable, friendly and accommodating. The beach is just across the main road and from the top rooms the view is quite spectacular.

Parking is a bit of an issue as there is not that many spots available, first in best dressed. Once you have a position, reluctant to move the vehicle, as you will lose it.

Clean room. EXCELLENT BATHROOM & shower which gives this excellent rating. Great view from front of property. Location couldnt be better. Love the photos round the place.

Parking is tight & limited. No lift. Hallway gives hostel vibes. Wall very thin could hear next door entire time. Room a bit bashed up. Curtains so old & dirty not sure why these havent been changed.

it's comfortable and top was facing ocean. sunrise and sunset can be experienced with the tides of the ocean. right next to all shops. smart TVs were a good addition. bathrooms were modern though the overall building is old. painting frames in rooms and in the galleries can be arranged in a better way. the lady at reception was great.

The proprietor was very accommodating when we asked to change to a room with a table and chairs he put one on the front lawn for us so we could enjoy the view. The room was refurbished and lovely and clean. Also the Proprietor doesn't speak much English and requires his phone to translate for him however the interactions and check in were easy and straightforward. We really enjoyed our stay and the location was close to everything.

Though the staff member who greeted us did not speak English, he solved the problem with the translation program on his phone. This worked very well. The motel room was well laid out and quite modern especially in the bathroom.

I could not get my phone to cast but I think that is my problem as I am still learning to use it. This left few choices for what to watch,

Clean new and renovated, exceeds expectations for a Motel. Good location, only walking distance to the main strip in Apollo Bay.

Bit of a language barrier with the staff, had to use a translate app to make a booking. Exterior doors locked at 11pm - room key does not open them, had to ask for a separate key for the main entrance. Would be good if they changed that system to allow room key to open that door.

Clean and tidy. The balcony had a great view over the ocean and the staff were welcoming. it is a great location close to bars and restaurants and night opposite the beach on the Great Ocean Road.

Hard to lug luggage on the stairs and the second room (family suite) had no windows.

Great location and view from the room. Close to the beach Good sized room and facilities. Beds very comfortable, we slept very well. Lovely bathroom. Eateries within walking distance and a garage with Foodary opposite, handy for snacks.

There was nothing not to like. At check in we negotiated using a Chinese/English phone translator which added a touch of fun and laughter to the process and another road trip memory. All went well.

Don't be put off by the funky yellow exterior. Fabulous modern, clean unit with kingsize bed. Crisp clean linen. Fantastic modern bathroom and shower.

It was a little tricky to communicate with receptionist as english was her 2nd language but plenty of smiles.
