We had a lovely 4-night stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, with an ample-sized modern bathroom. The location was perfect—it was off the main road but within walking distance of the beach and shops. We were on the ground floor, and our window directly overlooked the road. We kept one of the blinds down, with the door half partially obscured by strategically placed bushes.

Blinds were frayed. I like to sleep with a window open - no lock on the security screen meant we had to keep it closed at night. Internet would occasionally cut out.

Located at a convenient location. All essentials provided with the place clean, neat and tidy.

No lifts. Need to carry all luggage to second floor.

Very large spacious, clean room. Close to the beach and the main drag. Overall all a very pleasant stay.

No actual sea view, despite the name. You couldn't open the window in the master bedroom. A Free standing fan was provided but the room was still a bit stuffy. That room really needs air conditioning. There was a split system air conditioner but only in the living area.

We arrived 15 minutes after reception closed (6.15pm) as we were delayed by traffic but we received helpful message with instructions for how to pick up the keys from the lockbox and that was super smooth. To check out you also had to drop your keys back at a key drop off box which was quick and simple. The room was lovely with a comfy bed, cute terrace and great bathroom. There were also kitchenette facilities (fridge, hotplate, extractor fan and sink) and lots of storage too. We only stayed for one night to break up our trip along the Great Ocean Road but it was great place to rest ahead of another day of driving. Highly recommend.

The fridge in the room was leaking onto the floor but we were only there for one night so not a bother!

Everything. We were travelling through and needed to pull up for the night and so glad we picked the last available room here. It was so fresh and clean and inviting. Loved that they had a laundry with complimentary detergent and dryer which is really handy cos that's the last thing you think of packing, laundry detergent. The room was fantastic, bed was comfy and bathroom was gorgeous. Everything we needed plus some. The owners have only had it for a short time and have done Reno's which are a true credit to them. It was all beautiful. I especially loved your dark bathroom towels instead of the boring white which after while become yellow. Little touches throughout made it homely. And i felt safe. And it was so close to everything, so we just parked the car and walked. Thank you for everything.

Receptionist lady was very helpful, kind and welcoming. We booked the downstairs two-bedroom apartment, which is spacious enough for our stay. We stayed in winter and the heating was sufficient. The kids enjoyed Netflix.

If I were to mention a few things to improve, they need to have a kitchen cooktop exhaust installed to get air sucked out of the room. At present, it just circulates inside the room, so if you cook something spicy or even bacon, the whole apartment becomes unbearably smelly. Also, the missing oven was a bummer for us.

Location was very close to the beach and a local supermarket. Room was quite spacious. You got small kitchenette to prepare simple meals. You also have a nice patio outside for having breakfast. The room come with smart TV which is a bonus especially watching youtube. Staff are very friendly and resourceful to ensure our stay here is comfortable and memorable as possible.

Bed is comfortable but the pillow is quite hard so i just used one pillow to get the right position to sleep. But apart from that nothing really.

The staff were very friendly. The rooms had facilities such as a fridge, sink, kettle and dishes, which made it easy to eat in the room and clean up afterwards. It is very close to the main street, and there is parking on site. There were brochures and posters in the office about activities to do locally and the staff seemed approachable and happy to help if we needed it.

There were some TV connectivity issues, but we got it up and running eventually and the TV placement was good to watch from both beds. After the rooms had been cleaned there was a very strong smell of bleach, which took a while to dissipate and was quite overwhelming. Although I'm happy the cleaning was thorough, I felt they didn't need to use so much bleach!

This was a really pleasant surprise - we were a bit uncertain about booking a motel, but this one was great. The room was large, clean and well maintained, with all the facilities you'd need, including a great balcony looking out over the town towards the sea. There are lovely small gardens around the motel too, and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the birds flitting around. The town is lovely, with good options for food, drinks and walking.

I was sorry we only had one night, we could have happily stayed longer.
