The views surrounding the property were exceptional. There were animals on site which was a lovely bonus. The room we stayed in was large, the bed was very big and very comfortable. The room was clean. The facilites were good, there was a fridge, kettle, full length mirror etc. The room would be very suitable for a baby as well. There was a crib and high chair and washing machine. Check in was easy, the key was left for you. We didn't have to see anyone to check in or out.
Only 2 things to mention that were negative. I didn't realise that check in wasn't until 3pm until I booked it. I asked if it would be possible to check in earlier which was denied unfortunately. I don't blame the property for this policy it was my own fault, but it is a bit of a late check in. However on the other hand check out was 11 which is a nice sleep in! Other thing was lack of parking. I thought there was a lot of parking, however when we arrived back at 11:30pm all the parks were taken including the ones near our room. We managed to make our own carpark, but that was the only other negative. Everything else was great and was as described which was excellent.

There was a sweet little kitten that greeted us as we arrived and accompanied us as we had a look around and found our room. The beach right infront was great and the views from the property were lovely too.
Wasn't a big fan of the communal bathroom and shower situation but it is what it is but everything was well worth the price.

I liked the kitchen, lounge, and sitting areas. Beautiful view off the sea. The gardens were well maintained, and the alpacas and highland cows were lovely to watch. Near to the sea, near to the road. Clean linen on beds and clean towels. The place looked lovely. Well equipped kitchen. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay.
There were 2 female toilets and 3 showers to share. The showers were absolutely wet from users. It might be helpful to have some kind of mop or sponge to dry the areas. Overnight, both toilet seats were wet. I had to start cleaning so no one accidentally sat on a wet toilet. Handtowel holder in the bathroom might be helpful. We had a few mosquitoes in our room, and that became uncomfortable. One bed had a mosquito net available.

A great choice if you'd like to experience an old-fashioned guesthouse in a stunning location. Everything is basic, but very clean. The rooms are small but have an old-world charm, and a small heater to take the chill off winter nights. The shared bathrooms are very clean with great showers. The shared kitchen is very large and well-equipped. The lounge/dining area is also huge and fitted out with retro furniture and large plants. There is a large sunroom overlooking the ocean and farm fields, where we ate our meals and also really enjoyed making use of the ping-pong table. The property is a short walk from a wild beach. It's a great place for a get-away-from-it-all winter break, with few guests at this time of year.
The property is looking a bit shabby and could do with some exterior painting and maintenance. This didn't detract from our stay, but might be off-putting to some. The self check-in is very easy, but we missed being welcomed or even checked on during our two night stay. The biggest criticism I would offer, is that no heated common space is available. There is a wood heater in the lounge with the option of buying wood and kindling, the cost of which might work for a group, but not for a couple. Also the lounge is so large that you'd need to have the heater going for a long time to make any difference. We wondered if having a curtain to divide off a section of the sunroom (where most people choose to sit) and providing an electric heater would be possible?

The location is phenomenal. The vibe was really good. Also, even though we didn't see staff upon arrival or departure, they seem to look after the place well. We also loved seeing the animals around. Wouldn't mind more of them. Overall a good experience but there's room for improvement.
We forgot to bring shampoo and a hair dryer. We understand and support sustainability, but these things still need to be provided, at least those environmentally friendly. Also, a couple more signs showing where things are would've been appreciated. The room had a mountain and ocean view, but it was actually useless. The window was too small and in the car park. You wouldn't see much if there's a car in front of your room. It was also much smaller than expected from the photos.

There's plenty of space, has everything we need, the kitchen is clean. The water they use is rainwater collection, physical disinfection and recycling, very environmentally friendly. The room is old but the layout is reasonable. The toilet was redecorated and clean. There are two warmers in the room, it’s warm enough in the night. The bed is very comfortable my two girls likes it. It's nice to wake up in the morning with a calf grazing by the window. There are chargers for electric cars, very convenient. The Wi-Fi is quick!!
It's basically built on a vacant lot, an 18-minute drive from the nearest town. So when it got late at night and we wanted something to eat, we had to drive into town, and it was pretty dark. So it's best to prepare what you're going to eat in advance.

We had a wonderful time at Seacroft Estate, the location is extraordinary with beautiful ocean and mountain views. Our toddler loved the vast green field right in front of our little house, and running to greet the alpacas and cows in the morning. The house is simple yet very comfortable, nicely furnished and spacious, with a very comfy huge bed. Bathroom and toilette rooms are new, and the kitchen had all the essentials. It is a big bonus to be able to use the very large common living room of the main house, and have a tea in the winter garden with impressive views of the ocean. There's also a table tennis, books and games available for the little ones which was great in a rainy day. We really appreciate how friendly and helpful the hosts were, giving us tips and showing us around the house. It's also close enough to Apollo Bay to make it a convenient yet quiet, rural experience. We had a great long weekend, despite a earthquake (!) and some rain, and definitely recommend Seacroft estate.
The only thing we missed was a larger cooking pot to boil some pasta, though not a big issue since we ate out in Apollo Bay most of the time. Everything else was perfect.

Our stay at this property was truly extraordinary. We stopped overnight during our Great Ocean Road trip and discovered that Seacroft offered the best view and location near Apollo Bay. From our room, we were greeted with a stunning vista: a majestic hill behind us and the breathtaking Great Ocean in front. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with each room equipped with a warm heater. There's also a spacious, sunny yard where kids can play freely, complete with a charming sandpit under a treehouse. As we watched cattle grazing on the nearby hill, it felt like a serene escape.
We stayed in a 2-bedroom ocean-view room, but unfortunately, there is only one bathroom, which is abit inconvenient for 6 members of us. The water filling the bathtub had a yellow tint, which caused concern for us, and our kids were hesitant to use it. Other than these issues, everything else was perfect

Amazing cottage. The sofas and the beds were all very very comfortable. Shower was great. Kitchen was very well equipped. Everything was very clean. I was a bit worried about the electricity supply but there was no problem. Great communication by the host. Highlight was waking up in the morning and popping out a fold out chair on the grass and enjoying the ocean view. We had a great stay.
Some of the pictures are of a different part of the property that we were not allowed to enter. I was staying in one of the cottages. Better to bring your own drinking water. They say the tap water is safe to drink, and triple filtered etc, but it came from the forest around the back… Maybe it’s fine, but I wasn’t comfortable drinking it. We got one of those 10L water box from coles for $6 and I recommend that.

The location was a part of heaven, the property itself settles into heaven in a gentle way… This is an absolutely beautiful property, well kept well presented and available for all different types of travellers which was really lovely. The views are absolutely sensational, part of the great Ocean Road where the rainforest meets the ocean, it has five waterfalls nearby at Cascade down into Rocky Rivers and out into the ocean… The ocean along heroes wild and woolly and absolutely wonderful.
