Location is great! I’m Apollo Bay, once you step out of the room you can take in the view a bit better (but inside the room looking out isn’t that great). Walking in, I was a bit shocked because the pictures and the property DO NOT match. The pictures make it look really clean and make the lookout and space look large. In reality, the space is small. Inside, it gives motel feels. Outside - it’s unkept and messy. However, bed we’re comfortable, and for 1 day and a good nights rest, it did the job.

Pictures of the property vs real life is very different in my opinion. It’s a great place, but for the price - there’s a lot of other good options. We booked this last minute and it was our only option, so considering that - it was okay. The photos make the space look big and clean. The windows and mesh are all dirty / broken which doesn’t allow you to really enjoy the view from the inside of the room.

The hotel location is very special and great. It is on top of a hill and faces the sea to the east. So we watched the sun rise just outside our room. It was amazing! The hotel's access is a small gate on the side of the road, which can easily be missed but the sign was clear. We booked a room for 4 people. It was a self check-in. The room door kept open for our arrival and the room key was on the table. We did not see any staff throughout our stay. We had dinner in a Chinese restaurant in the town centre, where it was 5 minutes driving away. The food was delicious. The price of the hotel is very attractive, considering its view, cleanliness and distance from the town center.

The Panorama Guest House at Apollo was awesome for anyone who is staying for a quick overnight, or an extended stay. There are heaps of rooms, and there was adequate shared space, with a full kitchen to do your own cooking.

The only downside is you never know who will also be staying at the property. With 6 rooms available, there can be quite a few people if all are booked. We had 2 other couples, who were lovely, but there’s no knowing who’s coming and how many!

Not too far from groceries shop, petrol station & food, as long as you have car. We like the room view since it is seaview & no blocking. You gonna watch a beatiful sunrise here. We saw kangoroo near the guesthouse, and nearby the resident area, we found wild kola. Even the living hall & dining area are very good view.

The room1 hv limited space, but is enough for short stay. Also, sound proof not too good for the room & it is next to the living hall, so please expect noise in the morning. if you expect to sleep late, then choose another room. No problem for us, since we wanted to wake up early.

The view is incredible and the location handy - a very short drive to the main strip and beach, well worth it for the views. The description matched the actual place and it's affordable. Handy if you have your own food etc as there is a shared kitchen and big living area. Easy to book and get into.

Our room opened onto the communal area, which meant light noise but given the views and price, it was fine. Most of the rooms aren't directly in this spot but still have views etc, so not a hinderance, especially as we were out most of the time. A TV in this room would be great if possible.

view was great, we woke up in the middle of the night to turn off an outside light that was really bright, however we got to see two kangaroos on our balcony which was so cute and unexpected. room was spacious and aircon function really well, big tv and storage space. big common area for dinner. they have a dishwasher which makes things way easier to clean up. parking just outside

there were no staffs around, which wasn't really good because another group of guests were so loud at 1am and we had no one to run for. we didn't wanna cause a drama with other guests without no staff around the bathroom door has clear glass so it's a bit uncomfortable to use it with people around

This was a great spot—beautiful common area, too. We had a gorgeous “panorama” view of ApolloBay with terrific sunrises and kangaroos grazing in the front yard. We spent five days here and made day trips to the 12 Apostles, rainforests, and waterfalls. The place is located near town with a grocery store, nice restaurants, and ocean access. Every day was a true pleasure.

Great place with amazing views over the ocean. Kangaroos on the property in the evening (and morning) eating grass. Amazing views from the kitchen (all windows). Very quiet place. Good communication was sent before for an easy, independent, contactless arrival.

The internet works only in the common area and not in the rooms. If you are in room 3,4,5,6 (further away), no signal. The rooms are comfortable, but if you are 4 adults in a room (each with a suitcase), there is no space to put the luggage. Although the check-in was very good (all infos sent online), we never met anyone on the property so it felt a little unpersonal. The common cooking area in the kitchen is small and fits only 2 people at most. If several people are trying to cook at the same time, it feels like you are stepping on each other's feet. But the eating area is large, spacious with great views.

The view of the room is amazing, the bedroom was super comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with a good hot tub/shower. The shared kitchen had everything we could possibly need.

It was dirty under the beds. And even tough there was no one else there, all doors were kept open, so it didn't seem 100% safe, felt like anyone could enter the property. I guess that is a reflection of how safe the city is.
