Great place for the price. Lady at reception was lovely, comfy bed, clean

Cottonwood is a little gem! The motel is old but has renovated bathrooms and is spotlessly clean both inside and out. I love that all the rooms are ground level. There is a well kept pool with a bbq and shaded seating area. A bit of a surprise was a full sized commercial kitchen which is available for guest use. Being on the main road, I expected road noise but there was almost nothing. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Lighting in the room could have been better and really does need some updating. There is also a lack of powerpoints near the bed. In the room I had, there was a powerpoint behind the couch and one on the otherside of the room. Lucky for me, I had taken a long charging cable with me for my phone but a powerpoint either side of the bed would have been a great option.

A good value stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, well provisioned & exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly & responded to requests quickly. Easy highway access with a location close to the Mildura Plaza & only a short drive to the riverfront.

The "smoking area" was located poolside very near an outdoor passageway lined with rooms. The smell of smoke was strong as we had to walk past to get to our room. My suggestion would be to move the smoking area to the very back of the motel so that nobody is impacted by lingering smoke odour. There were no coat hangers at all in the closet & though they were provided on request, housekeeping should check daily for such provisions.

Off street parking, although we couldn't park right in front of our rooms due to rooms facing each other, but there was plenty of parking space. Nice little pool area. Bathroom decent size, shower was good and beds were comfortable. Owners and staff were great and very friendly and welcoming.

No access to power points. There was a couple but low behind the beds, which you had to pull out to reach. Power point in bathroom but not good for charging devices and one behind the microwave hard to get to. There was spot for power points by bench but looks like they were removed, would have been handy if they were still there. The door to the bathroom would not open or close properly. TV worked first day but second day TV remote was all over the place, tried to change channels wouldn't instead it flipped through different media selections. Up volume turned it down vice versa, may have just been flat.

Clean rooms, bathroom and bed linen. Only issue was there were not enough plates for all four of us. They had only provided one plate, one spoon and a cup. Other than its a really nice place, convenient location, ample parking right in front of the room. Clean pool and had laundry facilities. Since we were doing inter state travel the laundry was convenient. Overall is was a great stay for the family of 4. Would recommend for families and would stay again.

Not enough cutlery and crockery for the numbetof guests.

Centrally located in the town and very easy to find especially late at night when we arrived. Staff were fantastic and nothing we asked of them was a problem. Room was super clean and linen gave the impression of being freshly pressed. Air conditioning was desperately needed due to a very hot night. Ours was efficient clean and well positioned which made for a good nights sleep. All round, a great night and you couldn’t ask for anything else.

The property was nothing short of outstanding.

Large comfortable bed, easy to access and good location. Neat and tidy and a good room.

The only negative was the tv, couldn’t get all channels and it was very slow and hard to change channels. No access or option to stream anything. All the other places we stayed had this option and we could use our streaming services on their tv (4 other places we stayed in all had this)

Loved the space of the apartment. The bathroom was very spacious and a big shower with great water pressure. The water was hot, which we love. The beds were very comfortable and an apartment with everything you needed. The man at reception was lovely to deal with.. Definitely would stay again.

Nothing to dislike.

Clean and comfortable, appears to have been recently upgraded. Adequate crockery in cupboard and UHT milk in fridge. Friendly staff.

Other guests could be heard talking and their plumbing seemed noisy. Not loud enough to keep me awake. Basin in the bathroom is small, adequate for washing hands but not much else. No vanity for leaving toothbrush / paste, razor etc.
