Reception was friendly, knowledgeable and very polite. Parking was easy, although the ramp to the top deck was a bit tricky. Close to the room and easy access. The room was large and there was plenty of space to spread out, including a large settee. A cereal breakfast was provided, an added bonus. Staff in the bistro were very friendly and engaged well in conversation with we ‘older’ travellers.

The view over the car dealership was a bit of a let down. The shower, although having good water pressure and temperature control, could have had a better screen, which allowed water to spray a bit wide.

The bed was comfy

We ended up in a room with a disabled access bathroom. Usually if we end up with this kind of bathroom it is not a problem but in room #14 almost the entire bathroom floor was wet in no time as the glass panel beside the shower is not wide enough to prevent the water splashing everywhere even in the shortest most careful showering. We had a very squeaky bathroom door which was not ideal at night and as we stayed for 2 nights we asked if the hinges could be oiled to stop the squeek. However the problem was not fixed sadly.

The night, game room, security man was SO kind and helpful. We had late check-in (around 10.30pm) and Reception door was locked/closed. I walked in from the Game Room entrance and this gentleman working security walked me over to the Reception after he spoke with (I'm guessing) the night manager. The person who checked us in was super welcoming, friendly, professional and gave us a coupon for breakfast at the Winey Cow. She made our weary, late check-in smooth and did not seem at all bothered. Excellent short stay! Thank you for the hospitality MH!

The room was large, had comfortable seating and a large king size bed which was very comfortable. My husband loved the deep tub bathtub that was a bonus for him! It was easily accessible to the bistro for dinner via an internal lift. We dined in the restaurant with some local family, and everyone was impressed with their meals. Meals were delicious and a perfect serving size. (not to large and not small) As an added touch, they provide breakfast cereal and milk at no extra charge (we were dining out for brunch so didn't use this, however maybe next time) and gave you a 10% meal discount on meals in the bistro during our stay. The positives of our stay far out way any small negative that we found.

Felt it was a little on the expensive side, however, would not let that deter us staying again. The ramp to the car parking was tricky and a tight squeeze.

My partner checked in so I never met the reception staff but it was handy to drive straight into the upper parking area and have direct access to our room. It turned out the meal organised as part of the seminar I was attending was at the same venue, to super-handy for me - just over the corridor! No road noise, despite being on a busy road, and only limited noise from venue below, which was good for a SAturday night.

Drainage in shower not great - in fact I'd like to have words with whoever designed the bathroom! but all clean and well presented/maintained.

The room (family) was a great size, the bathroom was as well, with a lovely bath and spacious shower. Check in was super easy, Great access (via key pass) to the floor, felt secure. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but looked like a good menu.

We were going to park in the upstairs parking lot, but felt nervous about the narrowness of the ramp, and there was a lip sticking out that when we left early in the morning we might've hit...but that's a minor thing, there was plenty of parking underneath. We were only hesitant because we may have been a bit blurry eyed when we left in the morning.

The size of the bathroom in the family suite was enormous and the actual bath - jaw dropped. The beds were great and comfortable. Bistro was perfect for tea and supplies are in room for quick breakfast - cereal, toast , tea & coffee.

Lift was out of action but luckily car park is on same level of accommodation. Is a bad ramp though to get up , I would not like to have a big vehicle. There is obstacle at start which you have to dodge and then the angle you loose sight of top and there is a car space there. Really need to invest in fixing. Minor thing bigger cups in rooms, maybe mugs, as currently cups are two adult mouth fulls and the drink is done.

Rooms were good, all the things you would see at a normal hotel. unclear about refirgerator items, whether or not you would be charged for them, but I did like the bread and toaster and other breakfast options, we didn't use them, just in case. AC worked well. The person who checked us in was friendly. Glad we had the option to leave our key and check out that way.

We arrived at the hotel and had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to arrive at the check in desk to check us in, I don't blame the attendants, there was a simple bell on the desk, which I rung 2-3 times, I couldn't see a camera or anything, so I don't know if there was someone watching the desk, and I'm pretty sure the attendant was also working elsewhere like behind the bar etc. So maybe just come up with a better system for checking people in, because we weren't the only ones waiting. Also hated the rooftop car park entrance and exit, we were lucky that we didnt scratch our car, but by the amount of scratches and missing concrete, I can see other people were not so lucky.

Room was huge. Easy parking. Beautiful big bathroom. Very comfy bed. Unexpectedly quiet (especially given it is on the main road, and above a pub. It's a bit of a walk to the town centre, restaurants etc, but it's flat and was perfect weather for the duration of our stay, so we enjoyed the walk.

Bar closed too early. We'd come home from the evening out, looking to have a nightcap on the way home, and pub was already closed. Probably a good thing for all of us.

Such good value for a short stay and the rooms are enormous. Close to everything we needed.

We’ve stayed here a lot of times and never had a problem with early arrival, but this time when we got there at 1.30pm the girl at reception said rooms were not ready. This was quite inconvenient for us as we’d already driven 4 hours to get there and thought we’d go past our destination in Seaford to check in earlier so that after our function it wasn’t too big a rush, but the person on reception wasn’t helpful in that regard at all. We then had to backtrack to Seaford and attend the function and then rush afterwards to get back before checking closes at 10.00pm. I understand we were early, but it was only by half an hour - surely 1 room would have been ready?
