The location is great - only about 2 mins drive to Safety beach and Dromana shops. Big rooms which were very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfy, air conditioning worked well, and there was a coffee machine and microwave in-room (though we didn’t use these). There was a lift to the first floor and ample parking right in front of the room, so luggage wasn’t an issue.

No restaurant / cafe on site.

Very affordable, great location, Nicole was lovely, the room was spotless, very easy communication. The room was quiet (though we didn't have anyone around us). We were really impressed by the room, bed comfy. We could see that they have spend sometime bringing the rooms up to a great standard, but still retained the affordable price tag.

I would have like a couple comfy chair in the room, but to be honest it may make things to cluttered.

Nicole the manager/owner was brilliant the room was cleaned well fresh towels when needed and I asked Nicole for more clothes hanger when we arrived which she promptly had no hesitation in supplying. Thankyou Nicole Dorothea and Jim

I left my hearing aid behind i novotel west HQ SYDNEY very disappointed with there corporation in forwarding it on,immediately after i notified again more phone call to novotel reception asking them to send it express to the bay motel where we were staying. I got told on friday the 14th April that i should receive it monday or tuesday morning which was to late as we were leaving tuesday at 6am from the bay motel so it should arrive Monday it didn't, this is were Nicole stepped in tracking the parcel for us, so we had to leave aus without my hearing aid. Nicole has kindley taken charge of the matter and will repost it to us in the uk.

The room was very clean. The cutlery, cups etc were all wrapped. Room had a mini fridge and microwave which was very convenient. Bathroom was a good size. Great communication with the Motel staff.

Parking in front of our room (near the entrance) was a bit small. I was afraid someone's car would hit mine so I moved it to a bigger space in the middle. Our room was the 2nd room from the road so you could hear cars go pass.

One of the best motels we have stayed. Michael checked us in with no issues. Polite and friendly. Excellent customer service. Location is 2 mins walk to the beach. Very quiet motel. Close to restaurants. Nothing to fault in the room. It was clean and stocked with complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Shower was big and spacious. We would definitely return next summer.

Everything was spot on for cleanliness (in fact amazing) and the room was perfect for the stay of a few nights. Location was also handy to where I needed to get to.

The only downside is the location of the end units nearest the busy road. Maybe double glazing windows might be an option.

Room looked recently renovated and was beautiful for our 1 night stay. We were upgraded to a family room and it was great, fridge, MW, cutlery, bottle opener and a small courtyard to hang wet clothes or have a drink/smoke if thats you. Close to pubs, restaurants and beach. Reception lady is a happy and helpful character who enjoys a yarn, good on ya.

Loved the location, a block away from the beach. The staff were so helpful and wanted to make sure we had a good stay, giving us great tips to ensure we had a great stay - nothing too much trouble!

Nothing we didn’t like but may have been helpful to have a swing set or slide for kids - although only a block from beach we spent most our time there!

Easy check in. Great reception. Rooms are very clean and tidy and it has a small kitchenette with all your needs. Bathroom was well stocked. Bonus outside is an undercover BBQ area. Walking distance to beach and cafes. We will definitely be staying here again.
