It’s truly hard to fault this place. We stayed in the stunning, brand new Newham apartment and were blown away by the experience. The apartment was immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and offered spectacular views (from both the lounge and kitchen) of Hanging Rock and the surrounding countryside. It was the perfect peaceful retreat and an ideal setting to reconnect with nature. The apartment was incredibly quiet, offering complete privacy throughout our stay. A thoughtful breakfast basket was provided along with fresh fruits, which was a lovely added touch. The location is fantastic. 7 minute drive into town. Communication with Chris was seamless and prompt from start to finish. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the city and enjoy a serene, nature fillled getaway.

We travelled from interstate. The location could not have been closer to the wedding we were attending. Peaceful location, with lovely view. Barely heard our neighbours and only met them (fellow wedding attendees!) by chance encounter outside. Instructions prior to arrival were clear so a "contactless" check-in worked seamlessly. Solid amenities, cooking equipment, utensils etc. To be self-sufficient if desired. Common "lobby" area is a cozy space.

No negatives to report - there was nothing we felt was missing or needed fixing. If you're looking for a hotel/resort stay full of excitement, this isn't it. But if you want a chance to rest, away from daily worries and life, this is perfect!

We had a perfect stay! The pre-stay communication and check-in instructions were very clear. There was everything we could need in the room for a comfortable stay, including toiletries, a hairdryer, lots of linen pillows and blankets, and more kitchen items than I have at home! The furnishings were luxurious, including a large comfortable bed, and the whole place was spotless. There were even fresh flowers on the table. The breakfast package was delicious (all fresh and presumably local produce- eggs, bacon, milk and butter, tomatoes and avocado, and a fresh crusty loaf). An added extra was the separate bath in an additional room across the hall. There are even bath salts, candles etc that you can use too. The scenery at the location is stunning; views sweeping down to the valley and Hanging Rock, kangaroos and Rosellas all around, and walks on the property. The first night, I was not sure if there was anyone else staying, as it was very peaceful. The second night, it seemed like all rooms were occupied, but we still could barely hear anyone else, or noises from other rooms.

Nothing, it ticked all our boxes!

The room and views were amazing. Even though the weather wasn't the best when we arrived, the view was spectacular once the clouds cleared. Views of Hanging Rock are fantastic. The breakfast supplies were wonderful although we really only had toast rather than the full bacon and eggs as we were going to a lunch which we knew was going to be substantial. Decor and ambiance were all faultless.

We could hear conversation and tv noise from the room next to us but not sure if they had their tv up louder than usual or the walls may need a little bit more insulation. On our second night we didn't hear anything!

Breakfast/lunch provisions including bacon, eggs, sourdough loaf, cherry tomatoes, oats, cereals, butter, milk and spreads. Other snacks included mixed nuts, crackers with cheese spread. The bed was super comfy. Modern and spacious room. We made use of the table and chairs outside the suite to watch the kangaroos, enjoy the views of Hanging Rock and eat some of our meals. Kitchen items provided including induction cooktop. Additional teas, cocoa, fruit and biscuits provided in large dining and lounge area at the entrance to the suites. Excellent communication from property manager with updates re total fire ban days, places to visit, eateries etc. and replied in a timely manner to any matters we raised. Plenty of space to wander around the property with outdoor BBQ area and art installations.

The location is fantastic. It is very private and the room was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. A huge bonus for us was the wildlife - loads of kangaroos and a family of deer to watch with morning coffee.

The room allows for self catering, which is the main reason we booked this accommodation. Unfortunately, the work space for preparing any meal is very limited and becomes very cluttered. Even preparing the breakfast (from the generous quantity of ingredients which were provided) was a bit of a challenge with the limited power points and bench space. That said, the stay was very enjoyable and we did manage to self cater.

Excellent ingredients were provided so that we could make our own breakfast, using the excellent range of cooking equipment provided. I particularly liked the the set up whereby there was a very comfortable private lobby area which was available to guests, in addition to the very well- appointed bedrooms. The extensive views looking on to the very large property, with a large mob of kangaroos arriving right outside the window every night, was a real bonus. Absolutely every piece of equipment that you could possibly need, was provided.

It was hard to identify anything I didn’t like! I like a flatter pillow and if I had one suggestion to make, it would be to provide two different pillows to appeal to all comers.

The location is absolutely beautiful, we saw the sun rise, & then set, amongst beautiful grounds with about 100 kangaroos whilst staring directly at Hanging Rock. It's amazing. Breakfast was beautiful & plentiful, bacon, eggs, delicious sourdough and lots of other nice things to eat too. The fire pit is a hit, what a beautiful place to stay. The property itself is exceptional. The views and tranquility are superb. As a photographer, I felt spoilt by the location along with the 300 odd Kangaroos who seemed so peaceful in my presence. The accommodation is exceptional- living up to all expectations plus more. The hosts have thought of everything- the attention to detail is greatly appreciated. The bed is immensely comfortable and the electric blankets make it very cosy. The kitchen works beautifully for a small space and all things one reaches for are there. Apart from the above, what I really appreciated was the cleanliness and hospitality. Since Covid lockdowns, I’ve spent much of my budget for international trips on regional ones and this particular place is absolutely wonderful. You won’t regret staying here, it’s perfect :)
