Margaret and Doug are very kind and generous people who go out of their way to help, and make sure guests have everything they need. Their place is in a very pleasant and convenient neighbourhood; the bus stop is a short walk, and Town Beach close. I liked the swimming pool, and the tropical garden. A generous breakfast is supplied. Doug told me about Broome's history and culture, and his own family history, which added so much to my understanding and experience of Broome. Information you don't see in the tourist brochures. Reflections is a great place to stay!

Coming from a cool climate it took me a little while to work out how to achieve a pleasant even temperature inside the rooms. It seemed excessive to have two aircons on, plus fan (bedroom + sitting room) for just one person, and I was aware of energy consumption, therefore I tended to stay in my bedroom with door shut. The bedroom aircon was very noisy. Mind you, a local person probably would think the temperature was perfect without aircon or fan!

Very comfotable, welcoming and very well set up. Full kitchen, seperate bathroom and toilet. Near to everything. Hosts were lovely and non intrusive, checked in with us when we were coming and going. Decor was lovely, felt special. Quiet and safe location.

Spiral staircase to room, although they use a hoist for suitcases. Unfortunately on our last day there was a car parked under the hoist so we had to haul everything down the spiral staircase. Lounge area could do with a working lamp so full lighting can be switched off at night. These are minor things and did not effect our overall enjoyment of the stay..

Very comfortable home for myself and friend. Lovely owners of the property made us feel very welcomed. They would do anything for you but you also have your own privacy and rooms to chill out in. The pool was lovely on the hot days. Great ambience and leafy, tropical gardens with fish in the ponds. Felt so at home in the residence which wouldn't be like that in a hotel. Doug and Margaret were the most wonderful hosts. Such lovely, warm people. It was their hospitality what made our stay superb. The actual space is super clean and comfortable. Great aircon and fan, lovely pool and places to relax and enjoy the view or garden.

Margaret and Doug were so accomadating at their beautiful bed and breakfast. Very clean rooms and very reasonably priced. Doug also took us out on a tour for a few hours to show us a lot of broome. Thanks Doug very interesting stuff!

Nothing to not like

Very nice place with breakfast included and the accomodation is really clean. The best are the owners (Maragaret and Doug), they are so friendly and always ready to give you some help. We really enjoyed to stay there and we really reccomend this place to everyone!

Great healthy and substantial breakfast each day. The hosts Margaret and Doug were very welcoming and engaging. Once set up in our comfortable suites, we could come and go without feeling that we were disturbing the hosts or other guests.

Owners Margaret and Doug are exceptional hosts- interesting, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about Broome. The property is quiet and comfortable with a range of areas in which to relax. While it is an old style guest house it does have a quirky charm that perfectly suited our needs, and, it is great value.

Loved this home away from home. Perfect for our honeymoon with the pool, breakfast and little touches. We loved having a kitchen to cook as well as being close to everything if we wanted to eat out. Perfectly awesome and fantastic people to deal with.
