Great place with lovely villas near cable beach.

In this day & age, you should have USB ports by the bed and the wi-fi should not be so patchy/irregular.

It is a great location, close to Cable Beach and restaurants. The villa is set in a beautiful garden with a very relaxed feel. The indoor space was very comfortable and furnished well.

The villa came with a kitchen, and while the kitchen was well equipped with utensils, cutlery and good cooking facilities. It would have been great to have some basic non perishable condiments, like salt, pepper, olive oil and paper towels. When you are traveling from interstate and staying for a few days, you don’t want to have to buy everything that you won’t use all of. The pool light would randomly come on and then when you wanted it on, you couldn’t get it to come on?

Location and quietness

The cleanliness inside was not desirable. Bathroom was dirty and marks all over the roof from someone going into the manhole. Even the fan vent in the roof was filthy. Lounges were filthy and stained. The 3 clothes airer’s outside were all rusted and disgusting. For a place I spent $3500 for 7 nights I was disappointed. Most of all when we get our mid week service with 4 girls cleaning the room I expect them to not step onto my personal bathroom scales which are logged into my name on my phone app and weigh themselves. Disgraceful and rude

The gardens were lovely. Loved the spacious villa and attractive interior, the pool was great and the staff and maintenance team very helpful and friendly. The coffees were lovely. Loved the security gate. Look forward to visiting again

No undercover parking Oven tray didn’t fit in oven A bit of a trick to get the dryer working. Advertised Egg n Bacon toasties only available for two days of a two week stay.

We had the pool villa number 43 which was so spacious with 2 beautiful outdoor areas. The pool was stunning and perfect size. Large bathroom, kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook. Barbecue outside. Washing machine and dryer. Parking space provided. There is a communal pool but we didn't use it. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a brilliant 6 day stay.

Beautiful facility - looked newer than some. Not every cabin has allocated parking but we found a park OK. Rooms are nice, modern & very clean. Pool was nice, breakfast (included) was great.

Wifi reception was pretty poor - not strong & dropped in & out all the time. Also, only 1 spare power point in the room in far corner of room - couldn't find/reach the points behind the bed, which was strange

The included breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and pretty spacious as was the bathroom. Having a terrace was also a bonus. It was practical to have access to a laundry room. The location was quiet but very convenient to Cable Beach by foot and also there was a bus right in front of hotel that goes everywhere.

The staff could have been friendlier. Also around the pool no one ever cleared the table of dishes and beverages making a nice pool area look messy and unattended and these spaces were not accessible to use as a result. The room cleaning sometimes didn’t take place until after 3 in the afternoon and I had to ask. Although it was nice to have laundry facilities there is only 1 washer and dryer so you had to wait your turn to use it. We had a problem with our phone not working and we couldn’t open safe but luckily reception was still open ( they close early ) and we got that sorted out .

The villa layout design and furnishings were all excellent 👍 Loved the pool and its privacy ! Will definitely pass on our enjoyment to others 👌

Considered the cost of our stay expensive but at the same time appreciate the remoteness , will consider a return trip in the future . Did not appreciate the attitude of a senior staff member when asked for additional coffee capsules for the coffee dispenser .

The staff excelled in their individual roles including the gardening staff, pool attendants, all cleaning staff, Cafe staff and front desk.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Pool Villa was awesome, the villa was very clean and beds were comfy. Location was good and facilities of resort was great. Really helpful and lovely staff.

Villas needed to be a bit more equiped with basic supplies- salt/pepper/sauces/oil and mozzie coils or spray would be good. Those were available at the oaks.
