The Clifton always holds a special place in our hearts as we have been visiting here for almost thirty years. The rooms are always lovely and clean, the staff so very friendly and the location absolutely perfect.

Nothing has been updated in the thirty years we have been coming, it is starting to feel like tired luxury. The decor still works, but just needs a refresh. An example is the television, a small easy updated replacement that would make a difference. The odd coloured couch detracts from the overall classy room scheme. Nice pillows, and more than two, a foot runner across the bed.

Perfect location, close enough to the ocean to hear the waves crashing against the rocks and also walking distance to main street where you are spoilt for choice for lunch and dinner options [we opted to drive as it was a little cool to walk when we were heading out for dinner]. Off street parking was secure. Room was neat and tidy, a little dated but clean and perfect for what we needed whilst visiting Bunbury for a sporting event over a weekend. I would definitely book again.

If I had to pick something then the dated and small bathroom, but in saying that it still served its purpose and it was enough for a family of 3.

Good value for money. I liked having an upstairs room with a balcony. Walking distance to beach and town. Nice pool and very private. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Quiet location.

Would have liked plates, bowls and cutlery supplied in the room instead of having to collect and then return them to the office. Not enough glasses and mugs supplied in the room. Toilet flushed too exuberantly and left water on the seat. Pillows were too soft and needed 2 per person.

Very comfortable bed. Outstanding location near the beach and boardwalk. Adequate appliances (fridge, microwave, toaster). We were impressed that when we had a sleepless first night, due to a raucous group of guests above us that kept us up most of the night, the management/staff extended their apologies and a kind gesture of a gift card to a local restaurant. Although the rowdy guests were not the motel's fault, we appreciated the gesture.

The noisy guests above us. But that could happen to anyone, anywhere.

Very friendly, welcoming place. the staff can't do too much for you. The rooms, though in need of an update in the bathroom department, are always spotlessly clean and comfortable and everything functions as it should- the shower, the tv, the wifi. There is a kettle, a toaster and a microwave, with tea, coffee and milk provided. Extra crockery and cutlery was provided on request. The room decor was stunning- none of your plain beige walls here! The location is an easy walk from the main street where there are many restaurants and cafes; a very little further is the Centrepoint shopping centre with a major supermarket and other shops. A very short walk in the other direction takes you to the Back Beach.

Push comes to shove, it's a motel in need of some tlc in some areas. But that is as nothing compared to the positive points above.

Just a normal Hotel room, although very clean and spacious. The room is a bit "outdated" and the Headboard has a radio in from yester-year. The Bathroom is also in a good condition.

The outdated Headboard and there is not enough electrical power points on my bedside table. the Bedside table lamp/light is too BIG and takes up too much space with people like me with a CPAP Machine for my sleep apnea

Mostly everything!!!

Our room needed some updating as it was very aged with wear and tear BUT we loved our stay. The Staff were remarkable, kind and went above and beyond. Such lovely Souls 💗 myself and my girl's had a ball, especially in the pool. The outside front of the entire Motel was gorgeously decorated and even more spectacular at night with their pretty lighting.

Well located, always clean. Have stayed here several times over past years when in Bunbury for both business and personal travel - consistent in terms of comfort and cleanliness. Cafes, restaurants pubs and beaches all within a very easy walk from the premises.

We are all tightening our belts and reducing costs, but thought more than 1 shampoo and conditioner would have been appropriate for two guests.

Spa bath was great. Takes forever to fill compared to others I've used, but it was relaxing. Was happy to see cutlery in this room and didn't have to ask the way I usually would in the twin rooms.

Ants in the bathroom and an ant in the bed. Might be time for a pest control review. I was in a rush when I left this morning, didn't have time to mention it at checkout

The bed was comfortable. Having a microwave, jug and toaster was very helpful as we like to cater for ourselves morning and evening.

The taps in the bathroom took about 4 turns to get water and the same to turn off. The fan was extremely noisy and rusted so it didn’t look very nice either. The fly screens did not meet properly and they needed new fly wire. One of the curtains wasn’t hanging on the hooks where the curtains meet.
