I really enjoyed my stay at the property for several reasons: 1. **Location:** The property was situated in a fantastic area, close to local attractions, restaurants, and beautiful scenery. It made exploring the area so convenient. 2. **Amenities:** The amenities were great. Enjoyed the free wifi the tv 3. **Comfort:** The room was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring 4. **Hospitality:** The staff were friendly 5. **Cleanliness:** The property was clean, which made me feel safe and comfortable during my stay. Overall, my experience was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this property to others looking for a great place to stay

Why my stay was generally enjoyable there was just one thing I didn’t particularly like : View obstruction ; although i appreciated having a water view, the rooftop structure blocked part of it. Was hoping for a more obstructed view to enjoy

Resting on the banks of the Preston River, this magnificent hotel is an ideal place to stay. Weather enjoying a meal or just relaxing with friends, this is the place to be. Rooms are exceptional, very comfortable and squeaky clean! But for me, my most favourite part of this Hotel is its staff! What a fantastic crew! Nothing was ever too much of a problem, assistance was available with a smile when needed & just awesome representatives of a well run venue. Congratulations!

Good location and lovely restaurant. Rooms were tidy and clean.

Street parking only which had lights and cameras but didn’t feel so secure parking on street. First night I experienced people having sex in the next room, the moise woke me up. I had earplugs in biur noise was very distressing. I spoke to management next day and they said I should have rang their emergency number., I just didn’t even think about that at the time. Anyway people left and rest of week was great,

Room was very clean, neat and well presented. Bathroom is fairly new so very clean, although a bit small. I was only staying overnight, so that was fine. I had a nice little balcony overlooking the water (and some industry) but the space and fresh air was appreciated. There is a pub/restaurant downstairs with delicious food which meant I didn't need to go out somewhere else for dinner. Nice views in one direction over the water inlet.

No lift when carrying luggage to your room. Bathroom is small and space where toilet located is quite tight. A bigger table to work on would have been helpful.

I love this beautifully restored heritage building.sitting on the waters edge. It's the thoughtful little extras that make it a comfortable stay for me. This is my third stay on a tight time frame. The cafe next door is open early for breakfast with water views. The reception staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are spotless, freshly painted and beautifully presented.

I think Rm 21 would benefit from a fly screen. I've had No real issues with it as is, just my preference.

The location on the water across from the wetlands was so beautiful to wake up to every day. Hearing the wildlife was also peaceful. The staff couldn’t do enough for me and were always polite and friendly.

The room needed a deep clean. The lamps were dusty. The window and fly wire were dusty. The shower needed a deep clean, soap scum build up and mould was easily removed with a bathroom cleaner however I shouldn’t have had to be the one to do the cleaning.

Most impressed by the staff bar, restaurant reception all very helpful. Rooms modernised, comfortable and clean. No breakfast but nearby cafe very good no bar fridge but bottle shop adjacent. So facilities better than indicated. Overall definitely better than expected and good value for money.

Long unavoidable stair climb for elderly colleague. Practice of charging $200 for possible damage was in fairness well publicised on booking but makes one wonder what the fellow guests must be like, Until recently a frequent traveller staying in hotels all over the world never having wrecked anything at over 80 think I am a low risk, the policy wants rethinking from a marketing and image perspective

The room was spacious. bed was comfortable. The room was very quiet over night. Some conversation of occupants next door could be heard through bathroom but it was not obtrusive. Location on the water and proximity to town very good. we arrived a little early and staff invited us to check in without making us wait.

When we booked we didn't realise rooms were upstairs and no lifts available. there is limited parking at front of hotel but plenty of parking is available across the road. these comments are made should people with disability considering booking otherwise very happy with accommodation.

Pleasant for a short stay. Room was small and stuffy however comfortable enough. Bed was soft. Shame there aren't more bathroom facilities as I had to wait for a little while to have a shower. Staff are wonderful and I didn't see an elevator so bare in mind you will have to carry your bags up two flights of stairs to your room.

As stated above, more bathroom facilities would be great and aircon.

Restaurant food was great

My fault for not picking it up, but I didn't realise one of the rooms we booked didn't come with A/C. I just assumed its standard these days. Would have been good to have a note when booking to say no A/C would have been nice, especially with the hot weather down there. Deciding whether to sweat your box off or get eating alive by mosquitos
