Central village location, traditional property, hotel has had a major exterior renovation recently. Room was comfortable with standard facilities and excellent value. Breakfast options were well presented and generally of a good standard. Internet worked well.

In the interests of tips for improving but aware of the excellent current value: better quality ham options for breakfast, instant coffee & milk in bedroom (there is a SPAR within 200m). Shower gel in a dispenser. Half board was available for some guests, to have been offered the option would have been nice.

Landhotel Steindlwirt is an original hotel in the center of Dorfgastein, excellently situated within walking distance (350m) from the ski lift and with a ski bus stop just 30m from the hotel door. All nearby restaurants are accessible within a minute's walk. Next to the hotel, there is hotel’s parking. The hotel is family-run, and the family is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. We appreciate them providing headache medication when the pharmacy was closed and offering a late check-out upon departure. The hotel is equipped with a Finnish sauna, steam room, and infrared sauna, all included for hotel guests in the stay's price. The rooms are comfortable, adequately sized, each with a balcony, and bathroom with a shower and toilet. Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant, offering a sufficient selection of food, including ham, salami, cheeses, boiled eggs, bread, coffee, tea, juice, jams, Nutella, sweet pastries, and fruit. The food selection is decent, and the taste is good.

The walls between rooms are relatively thin; you may hear voices from neighboring rooms or the corridor, but it didn't disturb us, however, this might depend on your neighbors.

Family run hotel by Dutch family .English spoken, very helpful and friendly. Children's playroom downstairs plus superb village playpark outside next door! Kettle and mugs in room. Great spa facilities downstairs. Rooms are a good size with quality bedding. Good choice at breakfast.Free dedicated parking. We loved it here and will be returning! Great cafes and open air swimming pool in village.

Excellent sauna: finnish, steam, and also infrared cabin. Great after heavy skiing!!! Close to everything in Dorfgastain, from ski lift (some 400 meters) to Spar (another 150).

Poor ventilation in the bathroom. Only one electric outlet usable in the room (the second is at the entry door switch).

Great location right in dorf gastein, and easy walking distance to the lift (or a quick drive if you're lazy). The Dutch family running the place are super welcoming and the place has a really nice family feel. I've been there twice now and would go back for sure.

This is a lovely property in a beautiful town. We were skiing and it’s an easy walk up to the lift. The family who own it are the nicest people and give it a real family feel. They were super happy to provide vegetarian food for my wife which wasn’t on the 3 course menu each day! They also rescued us when we got lost during one of our ski days which was amazing. A lovely sauna / steam room; ski boot room AND tasty little end of day snacks :) the hotel is also extremely clean.

Beautifully located family run hotel in the centre of Dorfgastein. Large room with balcony views across the mountains. Great value for money with all the hikes starting from the village. The train station is less than 5 mins away. Breakfast was sufficient, shower had good pressure

Nice hotel in Dorfgastein with a very friendly staff. Good location in the center of the village. Wellness area was also nice with Sauna, Steam bath and Infrared Sauna. Breakfast had a good variety with bread, rolls, ham, cheese, jam, musli, juices and hot drinks.
