- Great location, right in the middle of town, so it's easy to reach everywhere by foot, including the central train and bus station, which is about 10 mins away. - There are several restaurants and shops nearby, including a supermarket. - Clean, comfortable and quiet room. - I ordered a single room, but received what was clearly a double room, which was a nice surprise. - Nice internal design for the room and it also smelled great! - Breakfast is included. - Slippers were provided, which was a nice touch. - Friendly woman at reception when I checked in. - I would stay again.

- The hotel is like a maze! In order to reach my room, I had to take the elevator up, but then needed to go a couple of stairs down and then climb up 20 or so stairs. I didn't understand at first why the receptionist insisted on taking me to my room when I first checked in, but I wouldn't have been able to find my room on my own... - Nowhere to open your suitcase other than the floor, which is uncomfortable. There was supposedly space for a suitcase in the closet, but it was odd-shaped and could only fit a closed carry-on size suitcase. A luggage rack would be a great addition. - The safe was an old mechanic model that was hard to operate, especially since it was located at floor level inside the closet. - No coffee machine or even a kettle in the room.

The room is unique with many windows and with a nice view. However, the bathroom is not entirely closed, so we made do with it by using a towel as a screen. Kaiservilla is just a short walk away. The breakfast was very good.

Open bathroom. The layout of the premises is also complicated. We got lost. There're random short flights of stairs here and there which make lugging a large luggage a bit of a hassle since there's no ramp.

The hotel is next door to the Kaiser Villa and Park and well positioned for exploring the town of Bad Ischl.It's also only about 5 mins walk from the train/bus station.Nice hotel overall with friendly staff.Nice room,the bathroom seemed particularly modern.

Regarding the room,the room itself seemed a little dated in comparison to the more modern bathroom but this is a minor quibble and wouldn't stop me considering using this hotel again.

Location is very convenient for the town centre and for the station. It was quiet - got a good night's sleep - and had an attractive view from my room, being close to the entrance to the park of the Kaiser Villa. Room was spacious and well laid out. Breakfast was particularly good. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly when it came to working out which train services were running following serious disruption caused by prolonged heavy rain.

The location is great, with a bus stop nearby where you can take routes 150, 541, and 546. There are also restaurants and a SPAR supermarket. The room is spacious, equipped with a floor-standing air conditioner and a small refrigerator.

The internet speed is a bit slow, which does not match the status of a 4-star hotel. Since they have the financial resources to build such nice rooms, why is the Wi-Fi so slow?

We received a warm welcome by Silke and the check in was quickly and very relaxed. The location is great and everything within the city is "walkable". Bring your sweet tooth and good walking shoes and you are in heaven in this charming town where quite a lot is about the Monarchy, Kaiser Franz Josef and his wife the empress Elisabeth (Sissi) from Bavaria. We loved the little shops, friendly people and atmosphere..too bad we had to leave after only one night! Breakfast was hearty and delightful.as well!

Portable AC for hot summer days in the attic rooms!

The room was beautiful. Nicely decorated, lovely view. To wake up to a view of the mountains like that was spectacular. And the location right next to the palace and the town was really perfect. I also liked the pool and sauna facilities. Very friendly staff.

I wish the pool was just a little warmer.

The room was spacious and had a large, comfortable bed. There was space to hang coats, put our bags and shoes which isn't always considered. The ensuite was small but practical. The shower was hot with good pressure.

I found the hand soap drying on my skin and the room actually got so hot in the night, we had to open the window.

Service was excellent! Food was fabulous, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff was trained.....location was superb, right in the center. Professional staff, warm service oriented, polite & warm.

The safe in my room was not working & was not fixed, so I left my passports with reception.

Lovely hotel and the owner was truly welcoming. The restaurant was closed in my stay, yet was nicely appointed. The room had a nice bright sitting space and close to the therme, yet has its own sauna and spa facilites which were very nice also.
