If you want to visit the area (we bought the Kärtnen card and visited 10+ attractions nearby), this is the perfect location (boat pier at the hotel beach, train stop next to hotel, a very nice restaurant across the street, 15min drive from Villach, 35min from Klagenfurt, 15~45min drive from most of interesting attractions in Corinthia...). Room and facilities are rather small but very comfy. Breakfast was excellent. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

It would be nice if the pool and spa were open until 10 or 9pm (it closes at 8pm), and the children's playroom was without supervision, and it would have been nice for somebody to look after the kids for 30min to enjoy drinks on the lovely terrace. But this did not affect our vacation significantly.

I like the most breakfast, absolutely everything you can imagine, wery nice staff who is serving and they will get you anything you ask. The rooms are nice, bed is comfortable, our room 109 has separete toilet from bathroom and I found this great. 👍🏼👍🏼 Very nice choise of sauna, pool from insaide goes outside and that is great. I would prefer a little hotter water outside but it was great experiance overall. My husband even went to lake after sauna at 5C 🙂

Nice property with great family rooms. Facilities are nice and clean. Breakfast has a wide variety of choices.

Extra costs that are not advertised - SUPs are available but must be rented. Cake is out for self service in the afternoon. Take a slice and the staff charges it to your room. But there’s no sign about this! Outdoor Pool cover was broken while we were there which limited access to the pool. Kids were very disappointed by this.

We took a short weekend ski trip to the Gerlitzen area and stayed at the Seehotel Urban. We enjoyed it a lot. The highlight for me was definitely the views over the serene lake, which provided a peaceful backdrop throughout our stay. The spa area was a good oasis of relaxation, offering three different types of saunas (herbal, finnish and steam) that left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. The entire hotel was cleam, and the staff incredibly welcoming and attentive to all our needs. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a short tranquil getaway. The train station in front of the hotel, great connection to the Gerlitzen ski slopes.

The hotel is located on the shore of Lake Ossiacher and has its own harbor and beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is caring and tries to fulfill every wish of the guest. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Public transport is excellent, the ski bus and the train stop in front of the hotel. The wellness area is not large, but of high quality, and the garden is well-kept.

The hotel parking is on the other side of the railway, but a total of 50-100 meters away. The reception closes at night, so check-in was a bit difficult.

Great location by the lake and just next to the train station (you don’t hear noise) and boat station, delicious breakfast on the terrace, nice indoor/outdoor pool and spa with three saunas. Not crowded, peaceful, well equipped.

As May is not the high season, bar and restaurant didn’t work, but there is vending machine with drinks in the hotel and good restaurant just across the road.

Well located hotel with its own beach, pier and facilities. Right next to the train stop with the possibility to organize trips to the surrounding area. Bicycle rental available (ideal trip around the lake with a detour to Villach = 40km). Very friendly staff.

There was some confusion in the sharing of information between Booking.com and the hotel regarding our reservation, which was embarrassing, but the staff quickly resolved it.

The property is beautiful and it has direct access to the lake. The hotel is clean. It is very family oriented with plenty of stuff for children including a playroom. Stuff was very welcoming to my child. They take care of details. The breakfast was nice with multiple choices. There are stores and restaurants very close by.

Excellent location near the lake, 5 min drive to the ski lifts (enough parking near the lifts). A bit retro look&feel, but all very nice, warm and clean. Beautiful lake view from the room, nice pool/spa and a good dinner in the evening.

A bit basic breakfast, lobby bar was not working in the evening.
