Although the hotel is located near a main road, the rooms are very well soundproofed and it’s surprisingly quiet — perfect for a relaxing break during a longer journey. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent: a rich selection of fresh, high-quality products, with something for everyone. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed the food — everything was tasty and well presented. The wait for food was a bit long, but it was a busy Friday during a holiday weekend, and the staff worked hard to keep things running smoothly. Their effort and kindness were much appreciated. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed. Free parking is available on site, and the hotel offers wellness facilities for those who want to unwind. A well-organized and pleasant place to stay — ideal for travelers looking for comfort, good food, and a friendly atmosphere close to Villach.

Great hotel, the breakfast was absolutely superby - I needed a good nutrition before cycling. Big room and good facilities. Very friendly staff!!! Free, comfortable parking available. If I am traveling nearby again, I would come back.

To be honest everything was great. Even after thinking a while it is hard to find any problems to be honest... Maybe only the restaurant could be open longer for guest who arrive late - other than that, no issues!

Breakfast was fantastic all healthy food and juices etc. The room was comfortable. The hotel has a library, snooker and game rooms. Theoretically the place has a restaurant but on mondays its closed, so I could not try it.

The location if You are without car is a bit unfortunate. I had to walk from the cable car to Gerlitzen and back. No shuttle bus in the summer.

The hotel is very clean and accessible. There is a gim, spa and wellness, as well as billiards and fussball room. The rooms are spacious and warm, and we had a small terrace/deck with sesting area. The ski room is big with boot heaters/dryes. Breakfast is excellent with meats, cheese, different pastries and bread types, as well as eggs, vegetables, bacon, dairy products and cereals.

Very nice staff, big and clean room, practical for a business stopover, good price. Very good is the option to charge an electric car, parking is more than sufficient. Billa next door saves you when you arrive and are hungry.

Location is not so great next to very used street, lake is not really accessible, atmosphere is a little bit impresonal due to the internal design, food offer in restaurant was a little bit limited. No food in the afternoon/evening (restaurant was not open).

The hotel always has visitors and plenty come for the biking and exploring the area. We've been only using it for sleepovers during long trips, was in the vicinity one night and came back 3 times already. Rooms are clean and always have water in the fridge free of charge. Was loving the breakfast buffet as well as they have a nice selection of fresh and cooked food. The staff is always friendly and the check-in process is a breeze. Having had a booking on a wrong date once, we were accommodated with a corresponding room and had no issues. You also have some lovely views of the castle on a hill and the surrounding mountains. Will come back again when we're tired from a longer journey.

The facility is outstanding. It has a well-equipped JYM and Yoga studio, a spa area with saunas, a very good breakfast, and a public area (cafe, library). It is very clean and has a very Nordic design. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

The fact that it is almost on the highway is probably a tiny minus because the road is tranquil there. The fact that it's almost on the highway is perhaps a slight downside, but the highway is tranquil.

The staff and Organization are very good. Super nice staff. I needed an emergency situation for ladies, and the staff helped late in the evening and delivered to the room. Nice breakfast. Sauna has 3 rooms. Good resting area and good fitness. Has a separate yoga room even. Clean and good facilities. Play room. Opening time for facilities are reasonable (10pm for sauna). Free parking.

The hotel was easy to find--centrally located on the main road. Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning actually worked, I was so thrilled (the other hotels on our trip had advertised air conditioning that didn't really work after all)!! The AC was fully adjustable in our room, so I sat there on the bed like a penguin that sits under the snow machine in the exhibit at the zoo; it was heaven. The breakfast was SO GOOD. Americans, this place had the crispiest bacon I have ever seen on the European continent. On our way to and from our room, we passed through a game room with foosball and pool tables, so naturally I challenged my husband to a game of pool (I won). There was on-site parking, and the connecting restaurant was also fantastic--we had dinner there. Our room also had a balcony which was nice. When we mentioned to the front desk upon checkout that we were going to the lake on our way out of town, they gave us a coupon so we wouldn't have to pay to go to the public beach.

No complaints! We were only there one night, but our brief experience was all positive.

Absolutely loved our stay. I wish more hotels would be like this. Service and comfort are number one. Location - Perfect, just a few minutes from the highway on one side, yet surrounded by mountains on the other side, and near a lake. Rooms - Spacious with a thoughtful layout. The rooms seemed also suitable for people with mobility issues. I especially appreciated extra storage space in the bathroom. The view of the surrounding mountains was nice. Facilities - Again, everything so thoughtful. The spa area was wonderful. The saunas and showers are comfy and offer enough privacy if you want it. The relaxation room was exactly that, I could've gladly stayed there overnight if someone asked me to. The game room with pool tables and board games is a really nice touch. My BF and I had a lot of fun. Great idea for guests wanting to stay in and just relax. Staff - Everyone was kind and explained everything we needed to know right from the start. All together a great deal if you find yourself in the area.

Just a suggestion, but I would've appreciated if breakfast foods were all marked with what they were. Otherwise I have to open everything and then ask a lot about what the foods are.
