I stayed five nights in a petite business room with a large twin bed. It had a small desk and closet area with a private bathroom (shower only). It was clean and exactly what I expected based on the photos. The breakfast room was lovely and the coffee/tea/food was nice quality. All the staff I met were kind, friendly and very helpful. Most of them spoke English ... thank goodness, since I have no German! :-) Special thanks to Alvina at breakfast, Seraphine and Barbara at the front desk! I could walk to everything in only a few minutes.

No tea kettle in the room. (Though I was given one when I asked.) No air conditioning.

The location is good, walking distance to the train station and the mall, staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, parking is in a good location and price considering it's a downtown hotel in a crowded city.

I suggest that a coffee maker and electric kettle should be added to the rooms. Also there is no fridge. The staff agreed to keep some of our food refrigerated in the reception fridge, but it was less than ideal. The way the "family room" is set up, there is one room with privacy but no bathroom, and one room with bathroom access but no windows, so both parents and kids have to compromise on something.

Everyone of the Staff, from the Owner, through Check-in, Breakfast team to room service, were exceptionally decent, full of Peoples Skills and hugely helpful of any questions asked, whether touring or restaurants. Outstanding. The room was immaculate and all one needs, which although the hotel do not readily supply kettles in rooms, they are happy to provide from reception for the duration of the stay, we had our travel kettle, so no problems. The daily breakfast was a very healthy selection indeed. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre with an abundance of all manners of top quality restaurants within a few minutes walk, as are the main city attractions. The Ski lifts are again a few minutes walk. Innsbruck is one Outstanding city snugged in-between lovely mountains, a real treat for a city break and Hotel Zack has got it right on every level.

Immaculately maintained property, ideally located 5 mins walk from the train station, and 10 mins to the Old Town where there are numerous places of interest, e.g. Golden Roof, St Anne's column, Hofburg palace, colourful houses by the river, Marktplatz, to name a few. Also in the vicinity are innumerable cafes, bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Staff throughout were super friendly and made us feel welcomed, which made our short visit to Innsbruck a bit more special. Breakfast was more than adequate. Would not think twice about coming back.

Great location close to train station, perfect for day trips to other local areas. Reception staff & breakfast staff really helpful and welcoming. Rooms nicely furnished with daily cleaning. Breakfast options were great.

No kettle in the room, not end of world but would have been nice as we were there for 5 days. Notice of local attractions could have been better, we were notified of the Innsbruck card at reception but no great detail given, which would have been beneficial to know at the start as we would have saved quite a bit of money on attractions. Also we were entitled to a welcome card (free public transport) due to the length of our stay and we had to ask at reception for them ourselves rather than being told in advance, even though they were printed in our file beforehand!

Fantastic location in Old Town! Very walkable to all major attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The staff were super friendly and accommodating! The breakfast included in our stay was very fresh and good quality and variety. The room was very large in comparison to other lodging in Europe. Our two bedroom family suite was perfect for two adults and two teens.

During our visit in June it was extremely hot and the room didn’t have a great air conditioning system. If it cools down at night, there are multiple large windows that can be opened in each room to provide cooling air flow.

Hotel Zach is centrally located, within easy walking distance of the train station, old town and numerous restaurants. It is a perfect base for exploring the city and beyond. The nearest ski resort is around 20 minutes away on the local bus. This is the second time that we’ve stayed at Hotel Zach. It is spotlessly clean; the rooms have all that you need. The breakfast is plentiful, delicious, with lots of choice. The staff without exception are all very helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Special thanks to the reception team and to Alvina in the restaurant who made us so welcome and greeted everyone with a smile.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warmth and professionalism that immediately made me feel at home. The staff, from the reception to the breakfast room, including the manager, were always smiling, helpful, and prepared to meet my every need. The room was simply splendid, impeccably clean and tastefully furnished. But the real icing on the cake was the balcony with a breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains: a spectacle that enchanted me every morning upon waking. The breakfast, included in the price, was a true triumph of flavors: abundant, varied, and with very fresh products. The location of the hotel is another strong point: just a stone's throw from the center of Innsbruck and the train station, which allowed me to explore the city and the surrounding area with extreme ease. If I were to return to Innsbruck, I would have no doubts: I would definitely book at Hotel Zach!

Location is v.convenient basically one block to main street or two to railway station. Lovely welcoming receptionists. Nice breakfast with coffee orders taken & brought to table. Shame only one hot coffee,despite requests, during stay. Don't Austrians like it hot? Slow to refill scrambled egg tray. Attentive breakfast staff. Night access worked v.well after 9pm. Locals pronounce name as Hotel Tack,not Zach.

As a single, scored a garden room ( no character but good facilities) which meant 2 lots of steps even using elevator. No help with suitcase. Needs a fridge and no ability to control heating/ aircon. Doona too heavy for mild nights. No room coffee/ tea making.Hotel name is faded grey above building so doesn't stand out.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Zach, thanks to the incredibly kind and accommodating receptionist. Despite our late check-in around 8:30 PM, she patiently waited for us after we had left our baggage earlier in the morning. Her hospitality truly made a difference in our experience. Our room was in the annex, and it was impeccable—very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The surroundings were quiet and pleasant, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making it a hassle-free experience. We highly recommend Hotel Zach for its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location. Would definitely stay here again!
