Hotel has a great location. Room we stayed in was nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast that hotel served is ok, nothing special. Dinners are much better and in my opinion very well prepared. You have a large variety of appetizers, salads and soups to choice and then you can choose the main course, which were amazing and very tasty. Location of the property can’t be better, easy access for ski bus or the lover tram station and it is in Kaprun city center. Garage parking is excellent, it is tight, we had a SUV and had no problems parking. Spa are pool area are excellent.

Staff were just ok. We did have any problems, maybe they were tired after the winter season but they were not very nice.

The hotel is overall very nice and cosy very good location near the ski lift the pool and spa area was great, comfy, and clean food was amazing - especially the breakfast buffet

The bar in the hotel for after-dinner drinks was a really big disappointment. We stayed for 4 nights and every evening we waited very long and eventually had to go and ask the staff if we could order a drink, even then it took quite long before we could order and before we finally got what was ordered. There were only one or two staff members, which was really inadequate considering the number of guests at the bar every night we were there. The staff of the bar was also not very friendly. Even ordering drinks at the restaurant during dinner took a long time. We really didn't expect this to be a problem in a 4-star hotel.

The location is nothing short of exceptional. It's dead in the center, super close to both the ski lift as well as the cross country track. We also enjoyed the super generous checkout (noon). We did not expect (free) hot afternoon snacks, that was a nice touch after a long day of skiing. Two last random observations: electricity was on even when out of the room (no need to keep a card in a slot or anything), great for charging phones and such. And we could also ask for a kettle, you don't get that everywhere.

The internet was on the slow side, so we ended up tethering our phones instead. The restaurant had a few strange quirks: sausages and eggs were cold one day during a late breakfast. Vegetarian dishes were not marked as vegetarian in the menu. Translations of some meals were quite non-descriptive. There was no information whether meals were spicy or not and some waiters didn't know either. We were also sometimes charged for still water while it was offered for free another time.

Our recent three-night stay at Alpenhaus Kaprun was nothing short of spectacular. The quality and presentation of the dishes were top-notch, and we looked forward to every dining experience. The spa at Alpenhaus Kaprun was a true haven of relaxation. We indulged in the fantastic saunas, which were the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The spa facilities were immaculate and offered a range of treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated and pampered. Overall, our stay at Alpenhaus Kaprun was an unforgettable experience. The combination of comfortable accommodations, beautiful decor, exceptional food, and outstanding spa facilities made it a perfect getaway. Very good spa, location, surroundings, view from the balcony, food, we recommend half board, because dinner is exceptional (it is served - you choose the main course from the menu - 5+ different choices every night).

There is no smart TV (no netflix, hbo, etc.). I think this is not something we should be even discussing when it comes to a 4 stars hotel. Very bad wifi connection. Some of the staff were great, very kind, especially waiters, but the reception staff seemed unexperienced, they didn’t give us enough information. Like for example, summer card was included in the reservation, but they didn’t give it to us straight away, we had to ask about it and only then it was provided. The same with the half board, they didn’t explain how it is organized (you need to order the main dish, it is not in the buffet). So maybe they still need to work on these things as they are a 4 star hotel.

Location was good to enjoy surrounding areas. It was nice to have breakfast and dinner included in our stay which was what we chose. There was a good selection of food to choose from the buffet at both meal times and the dinner main was a selection from the menu which varied each day, all of our choices were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was parking onsite but for a fee, free parking was around the block. The pool facilities looked lovely but we didn’t have a chance to use them.

Hotel location and styles are excellent. All facilities are available and meet Hotel Residance standards SPA facilities . Swimming pools and other sports equipment are great. ALS the staff in the SPA are so much professional and skilled for SPA treatment

Parking 🅿️ is still expensive for the gust staying in the hotel The SPA appointments are very limited and closing early during the week day . As well as closed in the weekend

Everything nice, the room is big, very very nice and Austrian style. We liked it very much. The food was also very good.

The dinner does not include also the beverages you want, you need to pay what you drink. That should be specified on Booking when making the reservation. Also main course is not buffet, you choose only one plate from a range of 4, but good point is that the choices are changing each day. The water from the pool is extremely cold, we couldn’t have a bath in the pool because of that.

Great location 2 mins walk from bus stop. Lovely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. SPA/Pool area was great after a day skiing. Stayed half board and dinner options were superb. Standard room was very good size.

Not really a dislike but the room was a little too hot at night. That said I’d rather too hot than too cold!

Das Alpenhaus spa stood out and above four other excellent wellness centers I had used in the last twelve days. Louisa and other bright, skilled and professional staff focused on excelled in providing specific care and treatment requested by aching skiers. Really.... Everything was pretty good... the fish one evening was less than fresh enough for a four or five star restaurant. Coffee was not available in the dessert bar after the evening meal, and the underground parking might be tight for anything for compact and subcompact cars.
