We booked quite late for this hotel which faced on to the main square and Xmas market but still received a good rate. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was huge with a sofa, chair and good table. the shower room was also very spacious, furnishing style a bit "traditional" which may not appeal to everyone but very good quality and very comfortable. excellent classic continental breakfast

As is common in European hotels no coffee making facility in the room, it`s a shame as it is so much nicer to be able to make a coffee in the morning.

Great location just in the heart of the city. Cosy interior, clean, good furniture, big bathroom. Convenient parking nearby (garage 100m from the hotel) which however you have to pay for separately (20 EUR per night).

There is an internal corridor between the wings of the building (or between two buildings under the same roof) - and at 6 a.m. personnel starts to roll their trolleys on the wooden floor, very noisy! So you get up even if you didn't want to.

Nice hotel in an old building with a fantastic location. A few minutes' walk from the parking lot, the museum, Mozart's house, the oldest bakery in Linz... The room and especially the bathroom were impeccably clean. The bed is very comfortable. Nice view from the window.

Although on Booking in the description of the hotel it is written that you can park in front of the hotel entrance (for 15 minutes), this can be a problem because there are cafes in front and it is not possible to get there due to the crowd. Instead, immediately park in the underground parking lot, and then check in. It would be nice if there was a mini bar in the room.

We really enjoyed the pleasant ambiance of the hotel, especially with its charming antique furniture and the historical architecture of the building. Furthermore, the hotel's location is absolutely superb, situated right in the heart of downtown. We had a great time in the "game room" located near the reception area. We were able to enjoy some delicious beer from the vending machine while playing games.

The parquet floor in our room makes loud cracking noises when walked on, which was frustrating when trying to avoid waking up my son during a middle-of-the-night bathroom trip.

Central location - the hotel is literally in the main square, so shops, cafes and restaurants are nearby. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and it was nice that the staff let us leave our luggage at the hotel and we could go and explore the city until our room was ready. The same when we had to leave - we checked-out in the morning and since we still had a few hours until our train, we left our bags and came to pick them up later - thankful for that! We stayed for only one night and we didn't lack anything - the room was clean, cozy and quiet. Glad that there was heating in the room - although our stay was in the end of April, it wasn't very warm yet and it rained, so it was nice to come back to a warm room and also I could dry my raincoat faster. A nice touch - there was a bottle of mineral water in our room.

The hotel is located right in the center of Linz in the historical area. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel has no parking but it’s a public parking underneath. The building itself is old but well maintained, rooms are very clean.

The room had windows towards inner courtyard. There was cigarette smoke from the kitchen staff so we needed to shut them. Otherwise no other complaints.

Location is perfect for a Christmas time visit. Walking distance to all attractions and interests with a lovely view over the town square. Staff welcoming and friendly, approachable and helpful. Breakfast room and breakfast is devine and was a major drawcard when travelling with hungry teenagers. Would certainly recommend to those wanting to be part of an authentic hotel stay whilst in Linz.

Excellent hotel, this was not the first time, and will come back. Traditional, yet comfortable.

The booking process on booking.com is a nightmare. I paid a 100 € more than booking.com’s initial offer. I once updated my booking intentionally, the system updtted it two times without asking, and the wrong way. It was only the helpfulness of the hotel staff that helped me get the room that I intended to, without gaving to pay double price. I’ll always book directly from now on, rather than via booking.com The only minor problem in the hotel was the odour of cig smoke at the lobby, and cig smoke neutralizer perfume in the room. I hate that. Smoking should be banned in Hotels entirely

Great location. 5 min walking distance to the Lentos Kunstmuseum. The Christmas market was just outside the hotel. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Liked the feel of the hotel. It has a lift from the reception. Breakfast is good. Hot boiled eggs available.

Not sound proof. No hot food for breakfast. Room gets very warm. Had to open the window in the month of December.

The location is for sure the best in town. Breakfast was very good and contained a lot of healthy options. Superb room, spacious and elegant.

Although, there should be somebody at the front desk 7/24, on multiple occasion I had to wait a good 5-10 minutes to talk with somebody. Not a major issue, just a little bit annoying.
