Location was great for us, staff was friendly (lady at reception called us a taxi which showed up exactly on time). Reception isn’t manned after 10pm but getting in with the room card worked well.

Breakfast was fairly minimal and some things had run out / had not been refilled at 9.30. Before arrival, I had sent 2 messages via the booking app, asking for a twin room (it was indicated that this had to be specifically requested. I never received a reply, nor was the request honored. For me personally, the mattress was too firm and the pillow too flimsy.

Room was large, comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but ok, location is great next to the Danube and the Ars Electronica museum. Plenty of blue zone parking around the hotel, so it was not needed to park the car in the underground parking.

The first room I got was not ready yet when I got the keys, but the staff corrected perfectly the situation by giving me a new room with an upgrade

I write this review for 27.02., not for 22.02. I had issues with my check-in, as my company made some wrong bookings. I was stressed out a lot and thought it will be a bad experience. But thankfully the woman on the check-in called Mira helped me with my problem. She was so kind and patient, in a short time I felt a relief and she managed to make this experience great! Definitely a reason to come back, if you're offered such professional and kind help. Didn't see this often, when booking other Hotels

They contacted me on the day of the arrival, which is nice, not every hoteel does it. Perfect location - walk over the bridge and you are in the old town. I liked quirky deco of the room, but as I travelled alone, obviously I didn't mind transparent shower walls. Some people might find it uncomfortable.

A kettle in the room would be a good idea. Breakfast wasn't the best, cheap supermarket stuff and not refilled. Next time I will choose no breakfast option.

Very nice business hotel. Located on the "wrong" side of the river, but only 500 meters across the bridge. Smallish rooms. Breakfast very expensive, better use one of the many cafes nearby. Super nice that they waived the parking charge for our motorcycles (else it is expensive to park). The apartment rooms have a little sitting area and are much bigger.

The balcony of the apartment rooms had pigeons and their shit all over - please clean.

The beds were excellent, the most comfortable of our 2 week trip with light feather duvets. Room was quiet with windows that opened and a small fridge. Secure storage for our bicycles in the garage underneath. We left too early to have breakfast. Location is good, close to the bridge with frequent trams to the city centre or walkable.

The artwork on our wall beind the beds was plastic piping and uncomfortable to lean against!!

The breakfast is good, but it is not very clear where what is, so you need to go around the whole area. Parking (extra charge) is in the garage connected to the building, worth every eur. 7 minutes to the center. In our room with a balcony, there is a bathroom with duble sinks and a half bathroom

Equipment and cleanliness on the balcony

Good location. Just across the bridge from the old city center with many sights. Very close to "ars electronica" museum (actually the reason why we stayed there). Parking is free in the street right outside the hotel from Saturday 5pm to Monday 8am. Billa grocery store just across the street - but closed on Sundays. Helpful staff (we neede information about public transport tickets and validity).

Good continental selection. Bacon and eggs the only hot food available but very tasty. Great hot drinks machine. Great ambience - very chilled and staff friendly and willing to help

The wooden hangers aren't suitable for dresses - there were no indentations for straps. And there were no hangers with clips. The wooden bed frame has sharp edges. We ended up with bruised legs from bumping into it. Very weird that you can see into the shower from the bedroom. The sheer curtain covering the glass of the shower wasnt much use once the light was switched on in the bathroom.

I was in Linz taking my eldest son back to Johannes Kepler University accompanied with my youngest son. After dropping him off at the Uni, me and James stayed at the arte Hotel. I stayed before with my wife on a previous trip. It is in a convenient location to the University, the Old Town, and mostly the trams. It is also in a quiet street just off one of the main streets. Easy to walk to the tram . Easy to walk across the bridge to town. The room size was good, price okay. Toilet was separate to the shower - perfect. The shower was not particularly private (!); not an issue with me but was for my son. Hey-ho, we managed. Bed was comfortable.

All was fine with our stay.
