From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed openly and warmly by the receptionist Martina, who was only too pleased to help with making my stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The catering staff were also friendly and efficient, and the food after a hard day on the slopes was warming and delicious. In addition, they served up a superb 7 course dinner for New year's eve! The Edelweiss is a friendly, family run hotel located down a quiet side road, yet only 5 mins walk from Zentrum (Central Maria Alm), or the Natrunbahn lift station.

The fact that I had to go home only after 1 week.

We stayed at the hotel in Hochkönig for a weekend with our family and had a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered an incredible view of the mountains. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the Natrunbahn lift, which takes you up to Prinzensee, the children’s playground, and a nice restaurant. Everything is very close and easily accessible. Breakfasts were delicious, with a wide selection of cheeses, cold cuts, and fresh fruits — a great way to start the day! It was also very convenient that the Hochkönig Card was included in the price — a great bonus! We would definitely love to come back again!

Really nice, well positioned, traditional hotel with friendly and efficient staff (especially on reception), nice spa facilities, good, well stocked breakfast buffet and easy car parking directly outside the hotel. My room was very comfortable, nicely furnished and had a great view of the church and mountains behind. Easy 3 minute walk to the Natrunbahn.

My one small suggestion (not criticism) would be for the rooms to have coffee making facilities. For me, was not a problem as I travel with my own kettle just in case !

Location was perfect and within walking distance to the bus stop. Martina, the lady working at reception was incredible and so warm and friendly. No request ever felt like too much effort. She even organized a taxi for us when ours cancelled at the last minute. Beautiful, charming and cozy rooms with great food and super friendly staff. The sauna room is also incredible and free of charge to hotel guests, what a pleasure that was to use. Highly recommended if you visit Maria Alm!!! Words won't do it justice!!

Nothing to complain about!!

Location is great, the town and sourroundings are beautiful.

Little to no vegan options, at the restaurant and for breakfast. They arranged something for me, but an international hotel in a place that is visited from persons from all around the world should take more attention to vegan people.

The hotel is extremely cozy, nicely situated close to the ski lift, staff is very friendly and helpful, a location where we'll definitely return.

The food was excellent, the spa facilities were great, and the hotel is in a great location in the centre of Maria Alm (but quite)

Very nice sauna and wellness area, relaxing and beautifully done. Breakfast was great, so was the room. Very friendly staff. Excellent halfboard dinner.

I expected more space for the second bed area. my cousin was annoyed that her bed was small. from the website the bedroom layout looked different. Martina told me that every suite was the same. the bathroom was very tiny.
