I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that my check-in process was smooth and efficient. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for ski enthusiasts, situated right at the bus stop with easy access to the lifts and trails. The views from the hotel are breathtaking, offering stunning mountain vistas that make you feel like you're in a winter wonderland. The apartments are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay.

-Great location, almost center of Kaprun. Ski lift only ten minutes walking but the ski bus stop is front of the hotel both direction (Maiskogel and Zell am See / Kitzsteinhorn. Also close to the Billa for shopping and many restaurants around it. -Nice interior, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen part, big balcony facing to the mountains, special ventilated area for ski equipment. Really clean apartment. -Pet friendly (we were with medium body dog) -We booked Comfort Room with 4 bed, but we got a bigger room. Upgraded for free. -Amazing restaurant, very best quality and really acceptable price. In my opinion one of the best in Kaprun -Excellent staff and special thanks to Markus for the great hospitality.

Markus from the staff came back especially to give us the keys - he was super nice and cared for us to get some rest! he was super relaxed about coming back late at night to meet us, he gave us the room key and told us lets meet in the morning to finish the rest of the paperwork and payment. in the morning, we met him again he greeted us with such warm and big smile, and he helped us get the Kaprun card, told us about all the wonderful places we could see, and gave us directions to a nearby breakfast spot - really the services he gave us was above and beyond.

The location and the fact that looks a rustic, a lot of wood details. Has all the necessary utensils in the kitchen.

It’s a bit outdated compared to the new building across the restaurant which is nicer (renovated). We didn’t like that it smelled like food (especially if you open the windows for fresh air, there is no AC) and it’s loud in the evening because of the restaurant downstairs. A few spiders in the room made our stay more exciting than we wanted to 😬 (we stayed in the tower room upstairs). The view from the balcony isn’t the best and the one from the bedroom windows was just breathtaking.

Dorfkrug is an amazing place to stay, a short walk from the town centre in Kaprun with very friendly staff. The Junior Suite is fantastic and has everything you need. One thing it didn't show quite clearly on the pictures but which was a nice surprise, was the very big balcony that you can access from both the living room and the bedroom which looked out on the glacier. 10/10 would recommend to stay.

Everything. The apartments are very well furnished with everyting you need, exceptional clean and very warm. There is also ski storage for yor ski equipment. The ski bus, which take you to the Zell am See or Kaprun glacier is in front of the apartments. The nearest market Billa is about 5min walk from the apartment. Also the center of Caprun is about 7min walk. I highly recommend Dorfkrug apartments.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good location in the quiet middle of Kaprun. Ski bus stop in front of the hotel. Very thought through, modern looking room with ample storage. All the room equipment is good name brand quality, new and works well. Full size fridge and dishwasher. Nice, spacious clean, well built bathroom. Extremely comfy bed (I want that matress at home now!). Locking forced air dryer with space for 4x sets of boots per room in the ski room.

It is basically a hotel with no daily room cleaning. I couldn't find a place to store skies in the ski room (just boots and poles). A ski rack would be helpfull. No facility to change/take shower if you ski on the day of departure other than a ski room (no privacy to change).

I would certainly recommend this place. We booked Studio apartment and it was perfect for weekend stay. They offered us place for bycycle parking and staff explained in details about the benefits of summer card. They have their own restaurant which offers variety of food. If you plan to use public transport, bus stop is just in front of apartment.

Staff ! Location ! Value of the money we spent ! Marcos was very great help ! He did a great help to us since we had not enough rooms left in the booking reservation ! The whole staff also a lady in the front disk she cover the morning shift was very kind. !

We did like the location, suite was nice and cosy, they have a very good restaurant too. The bus stop is few steps from the hotel and dogs are welcome which is very good!

The bed was very hard, it was also a bit noisy at night if you keep the window open. Kitchen is really small.
