Hi everyone first of all upon our check in, the very polite lady in the front desk welcomed us, and provide us with the electronic card to enter the building and the apartment, she also explained everything regarding the breakfast and the swimming pool, and also gave us the summer card of zell am see & Kaprun. the apartment is cozy and really comfy and has a very nice view on the mountain where you can relax and enjoy the overlooking from the beautiful balcony. the kitchen has everything you need to cook the parking is just downstairs and free of charge The breakfast was one the best meals I ever had in Kaprun, the food was delicious and the service was excellent 👍🏻 I liked how the staff members are helpful and welcoming all the time, I lost my summer card during one of my activities and when I came back I started to explain to the front desk how I lost it, she didn't ask anything :) she just replied: it is OK I am issuing another one for you, I really appreciate that. when we needed the iron they provided it free of charge upon our check out, they gave me and my wife pieces of chocolate as a memory, We valued these values. what I also like is that they didn't ask for cleaning fees like some other apartments include in the payment, we repay this by leaving the apartment as we found it. to sum up, it is highly recommended I won't hesitate to book with them again. nothing I didn't like at all, what I felt a bit strange that the young lady in the restaurant asked us politely to sit on a specific table she chose, I didn't see her ask anyone else from the guests to sit on that side of the restaurant but us. it was fine and has a good view but I just felt it weird :)

I spent two weeks at Active Hotel Leitner during my summer vacation. I had two different rooms which both were excellent! The first one had a balcony pointing straight to the garden and Kitzsteinhorn mountain. The second one was on the roof with a balcony equipped with a hammock. Both rooms were clean and excellent, couldn't wish anything more! ☺️ The hotel stuff was extremely nice, helpful and friendly. Thanks for making my staying so comfortable! In addition, the hotel had great spa facilities, garage for the bikes, and a fitness room. That is, everything I needed to make my holiday superior! Thanks! Definitely will recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to stay at Kaprun.

Really loved our stay here. Our two bedroom suite was perfect for us with some pretty amazing views. The staff is really great and the breakfasts are worth it and filling with lots of choices. The relaxation area in the spa is a great place to read on a day off from ski-ing.

For the price you would assume we would get water bottles in the room and a kettle. We did end up asking for one but it never got delivered to our room. There is however hot water available downstairs at the bar and in the spa.

The property is primarily a Ski resort in the winter, but it was well set up for summer visitors. It is located on the edge of Kaprun, but only a short, flat walk into town. Our rooms were large and airy, with a balcony overlooking Alpine meadows and the massive snow topped Mt Kitzsteinhorn in the distance. On a morning sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea, the only sound was the tinkling of cow and goats bells in the meadow. Such a beautiful peaceful place. Breakfast was served in the hotel building and was extensive with both hot, as well as cold items on the menu. The staff were all very friendly, informative and spoke good English. What made this stay special was the Summercard we were given to use. This gave you free entry or discounted entry to nearby attractions. We had free rides on the cable cars to the top of Mt Kitzsteinhorn, Mt Maiskogel, (54Euro & 34 Euro (respectively), a free boat ride at Zell Am See, free entry to Krimml Waterfall and a discount off the Grossglockner drive. We reckon the Summercard saved us around 230 Euros.

As its a Ski resort I dont suppose there is much call for aircon in January, but in a July heatwave it would have been very handy. Also the toilet was in a separate small room from the shower room, it didnt have a hand basin in the toilet room to wash your hands in after using the toilet. In a post Covid world it seems an oversight that should be rectified.

The hotel is modern, wellness is included in the price. Hotel has 3 saunas, outdoor pool, relax area. In case you are looking for a bigger wellness - Tauren Spa Therme is just a 5min ride. Parking is available. Ski storage room. The staff was very kind. We loved it.

The shampoo was missing, but we received it on the reception.

stunning view from the room, very good breakfasts and dinners (in a nice old renovated building!), super helpful and effective crew, nice bar and superb drinks made by a bartender, comfortable spa area with a few saunas. in general - 10/10 !!

a bit too hot in the rooms (even after turning ac off), but it’s a minor.
