I loved the hotel staff, they were very friendly and helped you with everything you needed. Also, the breakfast at the hotel was very delicious and the food was varied. The hotel is located near all the events and has parking and a summer card.

There was no elevator, so I had to carry my bags to the third floor. In the summer, the temperature is extremely high, and there is no air conditioning, only a fan. The furniture needs to be replaced to make it more luxurious and suitable for the hotel.

We had a lovely experience with the staff, who were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The location was excellent – it’s in a peaceful, scenic spot within easy walking distance of the village center and a variety of restaurants. Plus, the views from the hotel are beautiful, adding to the overall charm of the stay.

The rooms could use better soundproofing. Unfortunately, we could hear quite a bit from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which became particularly noticeable during our stay since a group of school kids was also checked in. The noise at certain times was a bit disruptive, and we were woken up early in the morning by other guests leaving.

We recently stayed here for a night during our Austria road trip. The hotel is run by the Martin family with the daughters and son of the patriarch manning the reception. Both check-in and check-out was quick. We were alloted a room on the second floor. An elevator to carry luggage to our room would have helped, but note that except one, none of the hotels that we stayed during our 3 week trip had an elevator. The room was quite spacious with a separate area to keep luggage. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit flat as is the case in most Austrian hotels. The linen was spotless and clean. The bathroom was modern, however the shower area was quite small. It had all the necessary toiletries and white fluffy towels. The morning breakfast was excellent with a varied spread. Sepp was quite helpful in mapping out the sights to be visited. A Tea/Coffee maker in the room would have helped in the morning. The lighting in the room was insufficient & dull putting a strain on the eyes especially at night. We would rate this hotel a 9 out of 10 and will willingly book again if we visit Kaprun a second time.

Family owned hotel in Kaprun, excellent breakfast variety you can choose from scrambled, hard boiled eggs, various bread, granola, yogurt, meat, cheese, fruits, vegetables. Excellent service from the hotel owners, as every morning they offer you tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Hotel is very close to Maiskogel ski lift (3 minutes by car). With this lift you can reach Maiskogel peak as well as Glacier at 3000 m (you need to change lift at the Maiskogel peak). Hotel offers Sauna, sauna towels. Owners really taking care of everything you need and we had a very good time at this place. Overall, well managed hotel, very pleasant owners. They gave as an advice regarding the lifts/ski areas. Highly recommended if you visit Kaprun area in winter/summer.

Great location, short walk to both the grocery store and to a beautiful gorge, but completely silent in the night. This was great because we could leave our windows open since there was of course no AC. An electric fan was provided, which was great. The staff was super helpful and kind. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, the best of our whole trip. Fantastic stay, would love to return!

One of the best hotels I stayed. They were quite helpful with the information and the booking includes the Summer pass in the booking. My stay was quite comfortable and I wish I could have stayed more. The breakfast setup was warm and they serve hot choco.. also have a bar and quick menu if needed.

They were quite in a hurry to clean the room on the last day. But it wasn’t a big deal for me

The host and staff were fantastic, and the location was convenient in a quiet area. The Summer card is a great value - we enjoyed a lot of activities for free based on this card

The stay was pleasant overall. However, a few things could be improved: - It would have been nice to have a minibar in the room. - Additionally, the breakfast options were limited, with the same items served each day, which made it feel repetitive.

The location is excellent! The hotel is around the major trails around the Glockner Alps. The hotel is very cozy and welcoming! The personnel went well beyond what was necessary for our comfort! The breakfast was amazing with a lot of options of fresh fruits and vegetables and great baked goods! Don't forget to order hot chocolate along with your breakfast (no additional fee necessary!). The hotel is highly recommended!

Everything was perfect!

I particularly liked the staff - very welcoming and helpful. As I was skiing on Sunday until let, I was asking them whether I could take a shower in the spa area and because the room was not used the next day, they let me leave the luggage in the room and take a shower there after I returned from skiing. Very much appreciated!

The rooms were functional, but did not have much atmosphere. In addition, we had been looking for 2 separate beds but this was not avilable.

Very kind host, she always had some nice words to us. Easy parking in front of the house, there is a sauna which is immediately turned on if you request. Breakfast is well prepared and has good selections. The bar is also a nice addition where you can have a coffee or beer in the afternoon. The hotel is close to the ski bus which takes to Kitzsteinhorn. We had a great time here in Kaprun.
