Schweiger Hotel is very ideally situated on the slopes. The bus service to town is free til 6.30 pm and leaves frequently from close by. The Apres Ski scene on the slopes is just across the slope and goes Quiet at 8 pm. You can ski down slope 50 to the main lifts directly from the hotel. The hotel has a free locker facility. I enjoyed my skiing more as I could ski back to the hotel for free coffee sometimes complemented with free Austrian deserts in the afternoon before going down for my last run.

Fantastic location directly on the slopes. Very smart concept, simple but very well thought through to cater to the needs of visitors. Easy access, great communication, great breakfast, very clean, convenient for access. Thomas was a fantastic host. Town short walk away, but also restaurants and apres ski right next door (finished at 8 so no noise in the evening). I would come back anytime!

The only thing I was missing was a sauna and a gym but that could all be accessed nearby.

The property was superb. The direct access to the ski slope was incredible. Truly enjoyed the personal ski lockers, a quiet comfortable room with a porch, and parking space at the hotel. The breakfast was included each morning and was great. My friend had rentals from town and upon check out, we were able to leave the rentals at the hotel to be picked up by the store later. This was very convenient. Highly recommend and will stay here again in the future.

This hotel is truly ski in ski out - it is right on two pistes. The ski boot/locker room is really clean and well organised. We booked the 4th floor family suite and also had panoramic piste views from the living room area. Thomas the proprietor was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and very good - Germanic breakfast, but also pancakes, eggs bacon etc and fruit/cereal/yogurt/juice in abundance. It is also near 2 famous Apres Bars - Mooserwirt and Krazy Kangaruh but don’t let that scare you - you hardly hear them with the windows shut and they’re all going home by 830. In fact, we spent a few evenings enjoying the atmosphere at Mooserwirt - happy that we didn’t have to ski home. The next door restaurant Griabli was also excellent so if you simply want to stay in one place this would work for you.

Nothing, we loved everything

Location for apres ski was exceptional, Thomas and the people including staff in all retail / restaurant areas were great, food was excellent (we pre-booked different restaurants each night), access from Innsbruck airport was easy. All in all, a great trip!

The walk back up the hill! But it became a challenge and quite fun.

Ski in and ski out was so convenient. There is an apres ski next door so you don’t have to look far for a party. There is a free bus that goes down to the central part of the village, conveniently running every ten minutes. The service was great and they have a cute little room with ice cream and coffee.

Fresh and comfortable rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff and truly a ski-in and out location, as the ski storage room was literally a few meters from the slopes. Everything worked as we had hoped and had no issues during our stay in early March 2023. When booking a room here during the skiing high season it's good to know that the hotel is close to the most popular after-ski venues. This means that there's a lot of happening around the hotel and there are plenty of venues to enjoy drinks or refreshments after a day on the slopes. Also, the hotel takes good precautions to prevent the traffic and noise (which usually ends around 8-9pm) from the venues from disturbing your stay.

This was a great place to stay, Mr. Thomas Schweiger was very kind, welcoming and flexible. The location is fantastic, right on the slope and next to a good, quiet restaurant that made it easy and flexible to have dinner without fighting the crowds down below in town. Great breakfast with all day coffee and some afternoon snacks and dessert, comfortable and clean rooms with fantastic view of the slopes, making it hard to resist running out the ski all of the time. Good common areas including the convenient ski room and private lockers. Being able to leave the ski rentals at the hotel was a nice feature since I did not have a car and otherwise the return would have been more difficult. This hotel was the center and key feature of a great, typical and thoroughly enjoyable ski week in the classic Austrian ski town and ski area. The host / owner was happy to allow dropping bags, changing, etc., to ski early in the day on the arrival day and to hold bags to ski on the final day after checkout - very accommodating!

There is literally nothing to complain about, the owner and host was great and could accommodate every request as well as being kind and welcoming. Those wishing to spend evenings in town need to use the local bus with a short walk, this was really no problem and the slopeside location more than made up for it. Some reviews wish for a sauna or pool and yes, who would not like this, but again, this property makes up for it in many other ways. Bravo!

Hotel is located right on the slopes, opposite Mooserwirt. Great location for skiing and apres. Dinner in town requires a taxi or a slightly risky walk down the slopes. In the hotel itself there are a number of small touches which really made a difference. Room was well apportioned with great views over the valley. Good selection of breakfast items

Little to complain about.

Great location for skiing. Good breakfast, clean and comfy rooms. Had a convenient "trust" bar in the reception and a shower one can borrow if you ski after check out. The owner Thomas was very helpful!

It can be a bit noisy outside as it has two after ski places nearby - but they close the after ski early so it is not a problem.
