Was any amazing place for our first time in Nassau. The hotel management was amazing i felt like we were extra needy but they were always helpful with everything we asked for. They helped with every thing from getting a great rental car to the romantic dinner my husband put together on the beach for valentine’s day. The cottage we stayed in was cute and cozy just a sort walk from the most beautiful beach i have ever seen. The hotel had snorkeling gear we used to see beautiful fish right in front of the hotel. Hands down a 10 out of 10 place to stay. I will be recommending this place to all y friends. PS if you stay eat like the locals the conch salad is amazing!

The worst thing of the whole trip was leaving I’ll miss you orange hill.

It was a very friendly environment - the staff were welcoming, there was everything you needed onsite including a fridge where you could take your own drinks throughout the day and use a tally to keep track. The pool area was lovely and private, the property was just across the road from a lovely beach, and the onsite restaurant provided delicious and affordable meals. I felt safe and comfortable here as a solo female traveller for a few days. I would go back if I am ever in Nassau ☺️

You need a car ideally if you want to travel anywhere else on the island. There were public buses and you can organise taxis but they were very expensive. Not much in the area.

We were looking for a simple, quiet getaway for two. The small cottage we rented had a little balcony and an ocean view, down away from the pool/regular rooms/dining area. It was perfect. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant each night. All the staff we interacted with were very nice. It was close to the airport and the bus into town was easy to navigate.

Small portable beach chairs would have been helpful since the sand was not always dry from the previous tide. There was construction/room maintenance going on in some of the rooms by the pool, which made it less peaceful in that space.

Located in a quieter side of New Providence with close access to less busy beaches. Room was basic, but comfortable with strong air conditioning and pleasant ocean views from the balcony. We enjoyed the restaurant options - good value for price and tasty. Many perks around the inn including a pool area and outside seating. The staff were really helpful and nice.

Room could have had a few more amenities, like full length mirror, hair dryer, etc. Property was undergoing renovation, so some minor noise from this… but likely a great sign for future visitors!

Good breakfast, nearby the airport, nice property with trees, grass, pool, and several buildings. Exceptional personnel that helped us resolve two problems: we forgot something in a taxi and they helped us track him down to bring it to the hotel; and after checking out we realized we left something in the room, and they helped us find it and send it to the airport in a taxi. Great evidence of the people at this hotel, and the people of Bahamas in general. Trustworthy, responsible and friendly.

Bathrooms outdated

I really liked the location of the hotel, close to the airport and the beach - you can hear the waves break at the beach but you are not bothered a lot by sounds coming from the road or the airport. The setting is very enjoyable. The staff was very welcoming and accommodated my request for a late checkout.

There were construction works ongoing in the room next to mine, that caused quite a bit of noise at times during the day. I also think the breakfast left something to be desired (some fresh fruits would have been nice for instance).

The property has a large clean swimming pool and a very quiet white Sandy beach across the street. Very easy to catch the bus for $ 1.50 per person to take you into the cruise ship port …. Stopping along the way at many beaches if you choose. Very safe . The property has a lovely landscape of palm trees. The staff are very accommodating. Need anything … just ask them for it. We would go back to stay again.

Hotel was in a quiet location away from the mass market hotels. Swimming pool was good size and usually not busy (a plus if you like to swim lengths). Free parking was onsite. Free tea or coffee all day. Bar and restaurant was available. Beach was across the road (though it was sandy it was not the best in town). Safe environment.

A rental car was more or less essential unless you wanted to pay for a taxi to see anywhere else on the island (at significant cost). There are very few sidewalks, so walking is somewhat hazardous. Restaurants are mostly a few miles away (although the hotel offered a good selection of food). Breakfast was not included in the price, which was pretty high.

The level of service was exceptional. The owners and staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly. They were very helpful when we needed assistance. The landscape and foliage was pretty, and well maintained. The views were great. The dinner was outstanding at the restaurant. City bus/shuttle stop is at the end of the driveway and very convenient. Minutes from the airport. We would definitely return!

The property is dated. It needs updating. In the room, although the beds were comfortable but the bathroom was in fair/poor condition. There were a lot of mosquitoes and other bugs in the room. Everything just needs a facelift.

Orange Hill Beach Inn is a wonderful place to stay. My family and I really enjoyed the beach, the place, everything. The beach in front of our hotel was extremely clean and there were no waves those days that we stayed. That beach was like a pool and not people around, only two more maximum. We took the bus to visit other beaches, the bus stop is in front of the hotel and the supermarket is very close too and can use the bus only for $ 1.50 The hotel offers free coffee and there you can buy your food. There is a pool, but we did not use it because the beach was in front of the hotel and we preferred to be at the beach. The people who work there are very nice and the place is very natural with many trees around and you can hear the songs of the birds. I hope to come back to The Bahamas again to stay in this hotel and enjoy that wonderful beach and place. I highly recommend it. You will love Orange Hill Beach Inn! In my opinion, this place is perfect.
