Amazing location right on the perfect beach. Next door to a shop that hires out surfboards, paddleboards etc. Concierge to help you book things. Easy walking distance (including with small children in the heat) to the museum of Barbados (excellent) and the George Washington House (charming, great cafe). Bus stop at the end of the road for buses (regular, tickets 3.50 Barbados dollars) to almost everywhere. Lovely small pools, ideal for the children and I also enjoyed swimming there when I wasn’t in the sea! Locals very kind and helpful and everywhere is safe. Don’t be afraid to take the bus, even with children (they are free and can sit on your lap). Free sun loungers and umberellas.

Breakfast not included, poor and very expensive for what it is. Take a suitcase full of pan au chocolate and thank me later. Impossible to buy beach toys, suncream etc anywhere, and everything is very expensive so take everything you will need. Food in the restaurant fairly poor. Go to the sailing club next door for dinner or get the bus into St Lawrence Gap.

The hotel was nice and friendly. Enjoyed the pool and the beach. Enjoyed watching the horses by the beach at 6am. Dining area on the property. Buffet or ordered food and bar.

The birds flying around the dining area. Need bigger fences around it. Landng on the serving ware was not a good look to see around the buffet. Workers need to watch and replace the serving ware instead of shooingg them away. Birdflu can be a lawsuit. I'm just saying. My brother flew down at the last minute so I had him as my guest. I think I was charged for room extra person. All good though. It was not a resort so food drinks was paid for. Plus the hotel need to take hotel payment at check in Not when one check out. If I would of spent more than I wanted, the fee would have been there. Lucky I spent cash all 4 days R Mathis

The beach was good. swimming was easy in the warm water. There were beach bars close by as was the sailing club. A highlight was a dozen horses from the Garrison coming for a swim in the early morning. The food at the hotel restaurant was good, although the breakfast seemed expensive and to order from the a la carte options, whilst cheaper and delicious, took a duration to arrive.

The beach only allowed a short walk along towards the Hilton as there was no access from the hotel to the other side of the Radisson hotel (Bridgetown direction), not even under the hotel pier - such a shame as this where the wrecks and turtles are. Instead a 10 minute walk out of the hotel, along the roads and then back onto Brownes Beach.

Perfect location: less than 30 minutes from the airport, a nice 25 minute walk to the center of Bridgetown, and located right on the beach. The reception literally opens on the beach, and you see the crystal blue water as you check in. The staff is incredible. Everyone is very nice: from receptionists, to restaurant servers, and a special shout out to the fantastic concierge, Ishonia, who went above and beyond to secure a last minute catamaran cruise for me. There are beach beds and towels available free of charge, and there are a few beach clubs/bars located only a few steps away if you want to drink and chill watching the sunset. Spacious room and bathroom, excellent housekeeping services with fresh towels and daily cleaning, as well as a daily refill of two water bottles. Great breakfast and good food at the on site restaurant, just a little pricey with limited choices. Such a gem! Hope to be back soon!

Truly the only downside is that the building is outdated and in need of renovations. However, that’s also what makes this the most affordable place in the area. The WiFi is not very strong - works better in the pool area than in the rooms.

Located right on a beautiful beach and very helpful staff. Shane at the beach hut was epic throughout our trip. Food at the restaurant is really good and the bar there made the rum punch I had in BBD.

Needs a good deal of TLC. It’s not a 4 star by European standards, probably was in its heydays, definitely not in its current state. The hotel was fully booked while we were there. Don’t think the tired looking facilities are deterring the visitors. But at some point they should refurbish the whole place to fully realise its potential.

Other reviews about this hotel are not in line with my experience. Yes this hotel needs TLC and upgrading... this is an older hotel that owners should invest in refurbishing and updating basic features. However, it is still a clean comfortable property, staff are extremely helpful and engaging (when you engage them with respect and a smile). The king corner room is right over the beach with a very nice balcony where you can actually hear the waves hitting the beach.

Owners should invest in updating bathrooms, carpets and furniture. It is still functional, but you expect more from Radisson.

Location is great. We booked a King room which is great as it is in a separate block from the main hotel rooms so much more intimate with a great pool and sea view. Also we received a complimentary rum punch on arrival which was a nice touch. It was our wedding anniversary and on arrival to our room there was a bottle of wine. With a card and a lovely fruit and cheese platter. Buffet style breakfast was nice with a wide range of food to choose from, and an omelette station is available and the chef will cook your eggs to order.

The room could do with dome upgrading and maintenance. The bathroom in particular. The bathroom door all the paint was peeling off on the back of the door. The bath and shower. The bath had a yellow stain which seems to because by the constant dripping of water after the shower is turned off, as it wouldn't turn off completely when we finished using it so the water constantly drips until you turn it back on to use it again. Despite this we had a lovely stay.

Breakfast was really good. The kids and I enjoyed it. My babies have told me that this is their hotel of choice when we're in Barbados.

Seaweed on the beach and that is beyond your control.
