A long weekend away in Belgium, where the warm hospitality of the staff made all the difference. Everyone knew exactly how to create a truly relaxing experience. The owners clearly understand what it takes to create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The small spa is a real treat, and the gym is more than adequate for a proper workout. The area is stunning, with many scenic walks right at your doorstep.

If I had to mention two small points of improvement: at the breakfast buffet, guests boil their own eggs, but there’s no ice bath to cool them down afterward. Adding one would make handling the eggs much easier. Also, while I really appreciated the excellent air conditioning in our room, it was placed directly above the bed, which wasn't ideal.

The main hotel building is lovely, with a swimming pool and wellness area open to all. Food is served in a main dining room where you keep your table for the duration of your stay. What was amazing was that the half board price included a four course evening meal and a buffet breakfast. The food was lovely and the selection of drinks available was great with local beers and a large wine list.

We were in the annex, which is only a few rooms, but they are not quite to the same modern standard as the main building.

I stayed 3 nights to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it became a fantastic experience. Facilities are on a boutique level and the spa is cleaned and perfect if you want to relax. The attention for details and the professionalism of the staff exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is managed in a high class range on a level of Michelin star. All three dinners were unique experiences. It’s a place that you must visit if you want to relax and recharge form the daily routine. We will come back for sure. This hotel is a true family style hotel. Very nice and welcoming staff, very good food and very comfy room! This place is definitely a nice hideaway from the busy city life where you come to rest and charge again.

The suite where we stayed was a little bit old fashioned, with heavy German-styled wooden furniture, which is... not the most modern outfit one can find, but hey - that's only if you are sensitive to or fan of modern furniture. I wouldn't stay away for this and would definitely come back!

the room in the annex building needs a bit of renovation, especially in the bathroom, space missing in the room under the roof especially around the bed and in the shower, not very comfortable for tall persons

The "Hof" is a wonderfull spa including hotel, if your into nature and relaxing. The rooms are spread out on several buildings around the main hotel (mind you, all in a very village surrounding). Access to all kinds of outdoor and indoor activities. Really quiet.

Not much. The rooms were a little hot due to being in the attic. Didn´t help much in the middle of summer. Otherwise there was not much to complain.

The whole place had a nice feel and we liked that we had our own place set for diner and breakfast.

Although it was very nice and what I wanted I felt it was lacking slightly on the hot menu choice and also missing things like waffles and pancakes.

Excellent hotel, very comfortable beds, very clean despite ongoing renovations. Fantastic food & wine. Top notch wellness facilities. Great location, very quiet. Walking distance to the lake / Ravel bike path.

All the rooms are shielded from the lobby and kitchen noise by a heavy hallway door -- except Room 1, so that gets noisy. No wifi in room 1 except one bar when leaving the door open. Maybe that's due to the renovations? Half board is for two people, even if you travel solo. That's as advertised so that's fair -- but the hotel will charge every single pop and Sprudelwasser even if you just paid for two 3-course meals and two breakfasts. Oh well.

The food and staff were outstanding. Very clean and comfortable. Definitely would return

Not much but if I had to pick the car park got full quickly

We were a group of eight older ladies celebrating birthdays... None of us could find a single fault with our stay. It was excellent and the staff were wonderful.
