Great welcome via the hosts, beautiful renovated property has been decorated to a high standard and taste. The rooms are tastefully arranged and decorated have very comfortable beds and pillows. There is an honesty bar out side the rooms with access to chilled water. The rooms have nespresso cofee machines and nice toiletries. The hosts were perfect and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was plentiful with fresh bread and fruit, cereals, cheese, hams, and so much more and eggs and bacon cooked to order.

Very minor points: Stairs take a little getting use to coming down one room entrance to the ensuite is narrow and wouldn't suit a larger person so check with owners if in doubt. Everything else was perfect.

Everything. Best BnB I think I've stayed in (well certainly up there anyway). Quite location (considering it's proximity to the ring road), beautiful garden (the sparrows were entertaining), great little balcony, modern yet cosy room, massive comfortable bed, wonderful food cooked in front of you and finally, the most friendly host. Will definitely come back if in Belgium. Oh and ignore anyone who says Mechelen is not a nice place. In my opinion it is one of the nicest cities in Belgium we have visited!

Umm.... nothing!

Such a stylish house, I loved my room with a balcony and the set up of the bathroom. I wished I had more time to spend there and read on the balcony. There was a coffee maker and they have chilled water in a fridge. You could smell the baked bread/pastries in the morning that leads you downstairs. Orange juice and milk were in their own little glass receptacles and I liked having my own basket of baked goodies. You could select other items like cheese and ham, granola, cereals and jams. The owner even made me scrambled eggs served in a cute skillet cooked in the kitchen.

It's the opposite end of town but only 5 minutes from Grote markt. I was careful using the stairs as they're a little narrow.

Great location, great rooms, and great hosts, very lovely people that can cook a mean egg and provide a very varied breakfast. They also have a lot of brochures and provide a lot of information regarding different activities that can be done in the city.

A treasure find! Koepoort BnB is exquisitely maintained by the owners and is very atmosferic. Koepoort itself is very well situated, nearby the beautiful city centre and a new parking garage. The room, beds and shower couldn't be better, you'll have a treat. We also enjoyed the breakfast which was prepared by the owners themselves who are very welcoming and give a personal touch to their service.

Everything. This is one of the loveliest travel properties I have stayed in. Clean. Stylish. Spacious. Beautiful decor. Comfortable (large!) bed. Clever bathroom layout (one could use the loo, whilst other in shower, without being 'seen'). Hosts were exceptional.

Maybe a slightly larger bath towel (or I lose some weight!). Nothing else negative.

It is one of the nicest BnB‘s I have stayed in! The love for detail and cosiness makes it feel like being at someone’s house. The hospitality is exceptional and the quality of the interior is great. I stayed for three nights in the big room and slept like a baby. the bathroom is spacious, water pressure is great, all amenities are there. So all in all simply great!

The room was beautifully appointed. It had everything we could wish for, including aitconditioning. The breakfast we plentyful, with homemade jams, and a wide choice in breakfast foods. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
