The buffet breakfast was excellent. The location was really good. We were 5 minutes walk from the centre of Mechelen. The swimming pool was large enough to get a decent swim and just the right temperature for me. The bedroom was quiet, the bed comfortable and the shower was really good. The reception staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful.

The rooms weren't cleaned everyday . There was a damp smell in the swimming pool area and the water wasn't as clear as it should have been. There were one or two maintenance issues eg a bedroom door that didn't lock and a toilet that continued to flush until you pressed again.

Very well equipped. Quiet. Wonderful view of the mountains and the ocean. Great for families. 3 bathrooms, 3 separate rooms. Kitchen is usable but knives need sharpening

The accommodation is in an excellent location, I highly recommend it. The problem is that the owners do not pay attention to the maintenance of the property. It is a penthouse. But the door suspension is not maintained. The carpet is worn. The screws on the door handles need to be tightened. The window locks need to be checked. The seats of the chairs in the dining room are broken. The kitchen furniture needs to be checked. If the washing machine is not used, the duct ventilation needs to be taken care of because it stinks. These are small things. They do not affect the experience, they are just unpleasant for the owner.

Lovely location! Clean and comfortable! Nice size room and plenty of wardrobe space and a good sized fridge as we bought breakfast away from the hotel. Really lovely area!

No extractor fan, or faulty, so the bathroom was incredibly steamed up quickly. At one point our room was cleaned and towels removed, likely just an oversight. The bedside lamp had a broken bulb. You can hear people passing the hotel talking and cars etc. Not enough milk cartons provided to match the tea/coffee available. Could be a little more generous for the price of the stay.

The place is nice and well located, few minutes from the town center. Staff are friendly and the hotel/room is clean and well equipped.

The price is a bit high, and breakfast isn’t worth the money. You’re better off going into town for breakfast. We asked for a late check out for which we paid €30 euros and others we were on the trip with left the hotel at the same time as us (1 hr after checkout time) and weren’t charged. So we paid for no reason!

Location.

The bed was not as comfortable as other hotels. Making strange noice when you move - you wake up because of that. No ventilation, just a toilet exhaust. Strange that some hotels including this still think it is ok to skip ventilation. Couple of times (probably unlucky me) someone from hotel administration/owner was calling reception with questions about bookings etc and administration was prioritised instead of a customer. A bit disappointing to be forced to wait while operational questions are being sorted out. Staff don’t dare to say “I will call back” - management issue. Breakfast quite expensive for the offering. You pay 20 euros. While in some other places lunch buffet costs only 24 euros. Parking - 24 euros a day. You are kidding me :)

It was a modern hotel, located in the city centre. Good as the start of walking around Mechelen. Bed was comfortable, room was good & clean. The hassle-free check-in and check-out was a first for me and I am very pleased about it. Staff were nice and welcoming. It is close to the train station Mechelen Nekkerspoel, but a walk of 20-25 minutes from the main train station of Mechelen.

I don’t need to have my room serviced every day and my towel changed. Would be nice if there was an opt-out possibility.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! Modern hotel with very comfortable room. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The location was perfect, close to the main tourist attractions and downtown. It was easy to access and offered parking. The breakfast had very good variety of fresh and also vegetarian food. We could also spend good time in the swimming pool. Great value for money, I’ll definitely return with my family.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. It looked into the pool area and courtyard area. The bathroom was huge. The room was clean. Beds comfortable. We were close to the center market square and multiple beautiful churches. Parking was easy.

The breakfast was adequate...typical hotel breakfast. For the price, I expected a little more. Otherwise, the stay was perfect and I would stay there again.

The hotel is located in the city center of Mechelen, really near to everything. The staff is very friendly an In the neighborhoud there is a really good bakery "de zotte morgen". Some rooms have a kitchen. The swimming pool is very good.
