I needed a hotel that wasn't too far away from Kursaal Oostende as I was there for vacation but also a concert. Loved the location and it was a good stay. The owner was very friendly and always answered any question you had. The breakfast was very varied and for me it was definitely enough. I would definitely visit again.

There is some work being done in the area. In the weekend, I didn't really hear a lot; it was more in the week but that's something beyond the control of the hotel. Same with the outside noise after 10 p.m. but luckily when you close the window, you didn't really hear anything so that luckily helped.

Pleasant café bar-cum-reception area at street level, where a good breakfast was provided. Good location on a quiet square close to harbour and beachfront. Friendly staff.

Room was clean and functional but very dated. The café-bar at street level is shabby-chic, but the decor beyond that is just shabby. We stayed in three cities on our recent trip to Belgium and used identical criteria to search for three city hotels. We paid considerably less for similarly-rated hotels in Bruges and Antwerp than we paid in Ostend, yet the Ostend hotel was by far the shabbiest and poorest-equipped of the three, so I have to score it poorly in terms of value for money.

The place is in the center of the city which is perfect. The rooms are very cosy and have everything you need. The bed was very good which was important as I struggle from time to time with my bag. The owner of the place was very kind and very helpful as I was gonna check in late after hours but he reassured that this wasn't gonna be an issue. I can only recommend this place and will definitely come back the next time I'm in Ostend!

The hotel's location was convenient for the station and for the main areas of the town. While not a modern building, the room was very adequate with good basic facilities. The chap on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very much as you wold expect in a Belgian hotel, with a good selection of breads, cold meat and cheeses and some basic hot food (scrambled egg and lardons).

During our stay, there was a fair on the square immediately opposite the hotel which generated rather a lot of noise, although this stopped, as we had been advised, just after 11 pm on the Saturday and after 8 pm on other evenings. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which, while not being an issue for me, might be for some.

Hotel Le Parisien is right in the centre of Oostende so surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Seafront is two minutes walk and the railway station is less than ten minutes on foot. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view over the Groentemarkt. The hotel has an elevator and a nice cafe/bar area by reception, and all of the staff we met were friendly and helpful.

The elegant cafe downstairs with interesting books to read, the quiet surrounding and good position. Clean room. The hotel is just the city center and near also the sea promenade. Not far from the train station. The owner and staff have been amazingly friendly.

We could not have a queen bed. We slept on double bed.

The location of the hotel was good very central in a square surrounding streets had bars and restaurants. Short walk to railway station and sea front. The hotel owner was very pleasant and helpful as the town was very busy so parking was difficult. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom, bed very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and the coffee was very good.

Nothing - our only issue was parking as everywhere was very busy but nothing the hotel could do about that the owner was very helpful in parking suggestions. In the end we parked at the railway station and paid 24 euros for the first day but if you travel anywhere by train take your rail ticket to the ticket office - we booked on line also cheaper - and you get a discount. It cost us 4.60 euros for all day parking while we visited Bruges so well worth doing.

When we were booking, we asked for 2 seperate beds (if avalable, as booking mentions it), but when we arrived, they didn‘t have any rooms with 2 single beds avalable. the manager was so kind to offer us the breakfast because he didn‘t see our request. It was a very good breakfast, fresh orange juice and all. As for the room, the bed was so comfortable and hygenic. The room had hight walls, it was fludded with light and it was well arranged. The Hotel even has vegan friends shampoo! We felt welcomed since the minute of arrival. Also, we had a dog with us and we didn‘t have to pay any fee for it.

The windows aren‘t well isolated but it is an old building so perfectly understandable, it didn‘t cause us any discomfort.

Be aware of the open air market that takes place every Thursday and Saturday morning. The market installation starts around 4am, and if you have a room overlooking the Groentenmarkt you will not sleep anymore. Bring earplugs

Really nice small hotel with a perfectly convenient location right in the center of Ostende. Absolutely friendly staff. Probably some renovation could be welcomed but taking into account price/quality ratio, it is great choice for weekend stay
